Okay, so I had my interview last Thursday, and I just realized I forgot to mention something that I think would help me out a lot. I forgot to mention in my interview that I was fluent in Portuguese. I did write it in the online interview though. Should I call and ask them to add that for consideration, or do the recruiters look at the online interview as well? I hope that I can join you all in January!
Thanks,
Doug

Wow. You're right across the Causeway.

While it is a bonus, it isn't necessary. You can however do the language assessment if you're accepted, and you'll get a nifty addition to your name tag that says you're fluent.

Have you ever taken this language assessment or heard of someone who has? I'd love to know what it is like.

I am definitely "functional" in Spanish. Enough so I could help guests without a problem. I just am not sure I could pass a test enough to get a tag...

Maybe tho! It would certainly feel like BU paid off considering I am a Spanish Language and Literature major in college (along with Broadcast Journalism)!

Yep! haha When are you going?
I haven't found many people from the area that are going.
Okay so I will take it when I get there.

I am a broadcast Journalism major as well!
