bikes on castaway cay?

Does anyone have experience with the bike rentals on castaway cay? Do they have tricycles? I think they have bikes with training wheels, but could anyone guess as to the size of the children's bikes? 10 inches? 12 or 16 inches? just trying to see if there is anything for my 3 year old. many thanks in advance

I don't remember any of the specifics about renting the bikes on CC - sorry, but seeing your post I just had to answer. Renting a bike on CC was one of the highlights of my cruise last August. The island is beautiful, and to go out and explore -it was just amazing. Wife and kids wanted to lay on the beach, so it was a bit of "my time". Make sure you take a camera and go to the "end of the trail".

From what I remember, there are training wheels, and smaller bikes - but I do not recal seeing tricycles. - ENJOY!

We were disappionted with bike rental on CC.

The first issue we had was that the bikes were not being maintained as well as I expected (had to try three different bikes just to get one that had enough tire pressure). Of course this is going back to the inaugural year that the Magic was sailing, so things might be much better now.

The other thing we were disappointed in was there isn't much room to bike. Basically just a short path to the runway, the runway it's self, and a short path behind the adult beach.

Now for people that don't ride a bike very much, this might be just the right amount of space to bike. But my wife and I were used to 5+ mile rides in our neiborhood.

our family (myself, DH, DSs 4 & 2 at the time) loved the bike ride at cc! i don't recall tricycles. we got the bikes with the infant/toddler seat in the back. our youngest fell asleep on the way to "the end of the trail". we're not big time bikers, so the trail on cc was just right for us. it was really relaxing & enjoyable. it was really my DH's idea to bike, and i was glad we all went!!!!

There were 16" bikes with training wheels and infant seats on the backs of adult bikes. No trikes.

They do have infant helmets, and toddler helmets, though not many.

It was really a nice ride. Enjoy!

My granddaughter and I rented bikes on CC, and had a lot of fun. It was a really hot day, so I wasn't too up for it. But there's some shade, and the path is over a totally flat surface. Plus there's several water jugs along the way. And the bikes were plenty good enough for us.
