We are planning a trip to HHI next spring, and we will be driving. So we want to take our 4 bikes with us.
Question is - are there bike racks at the resort so we could lock up the bikes when not in use?
DH thinks we may have to bring them to the room and park them in the foyer of the unit.
I am hoping for bike racks.

Thanks!

They have many bike racks at the resort, and some people just huddle their bikes together and lock them. No one seems to bother them. The Mercantile (rentals) by the pool also rents bikes per week, if it is too much to transport your bikes.

Have fun!

We always take our bikes. There are plenty of places to lock them up. In addition to the bike rakes, there are other alternatives. We took our bikes and looped a chain through them and then the chain around the support post at our unit.

Bringing them into the unit is probably not a good idea. A safety issue involved as well. Last thing you need is a partially blocked entry. Finally, all units are up at least one flight of stairs, if not three.

Never had a problem leaving bikes outside, even unlocked, though I'm probably pushing my luck with that.

Hope you enjoy my happy place.

I agree I wouldn't want to drag bikes upstairs. But the dedicated 2BRs have a sort of useless area in the extra BR that would be a great place to store bikes.

Rentals are cheap if bringing your own bikes is a hassle. But you definitely want to have bikes there!
