I know that there are many generous soles on these boards so I thought I would give this a shot. I hope it's ok.
Bryan's Bike Tour Page
I am writing to ask for your help on behalf of my friend, Bryan, who seems to be having a difficult time. He has accepted a challenge in order to raise much needed money for the National Mulstiple Sclerosis Society. This is a horrible disease that affects the lives of many people. (There are 18,000 sufferers in Illinois alone!)
So, Bryan has agreed to join the 25th Anniversary MS Tour de Farms. Essentially he will be riding his bike for two days (June 24th & 25th, 2006) throughout Illinois to raise money. He has set a goal of $300 and so far has only raised $130. For whatever reason, people just aren't showing him support.
So please go to Bryan's Bike Tour Page and at least check it out.
Click Support Bryan and donate as little or as much as you want. You can do so annoymously if you choose. You will be issued a tax receipt immediately. I know that there are lots of worthwhile charities asking for money and many of us are strapped for cash but even if you can only spare a few dollars, please consider this.
