Hi.
I'm really trying to get motivated to get myself healthy. I'm 45 years old and need to lose 100 lb. I'm prediabetic. I'm very busy with work and 3 kids. But I'm not very physically active and it's hard for me to get motivated to exercise. And I don't seem to be able to stay on a weight loss program for more than a few days. I know its up to me and I have to take control.
I'm looking forward to joining a biggest loser group on DIS. Hopefully this will help me get started on my journey to being healthy.
I was so amazed at how good Ali looked after losing all her weight on last season's Biggest Loser. My sister had gastic bypass surgery and lost about 100 lbs in 8 months. And she looked great, but she had a lot of loose skin in her stomach and arms. Ali looks so toned with no loose skin. I know that it must of been all the exercise that Ali was doing that made the difference. But I just assumed that if you lost 100 lbs there was no getting around having loose skin, exercise or not.
Has anyone managed to lose that much weight and not have loose skin? I wonder how much exercise it takes to not get the loose skin? My sister ended up having a tummy tuck and she looks great. But that costs a lot of money. In Ali's case, she was working out all day with a trainer.
And has anyone joined the Biggest Loser online? I wondered if this was worth the money.
