Good MOrning Everyone. I am the same this week. Hope everyone has a losing day.

Don't forget the following from Brenda (dare2dream)
Please report your weight using the number of pounds ie xxx pounds
If you would like to add your change for the week that is OK ie I lost 2 pounds. Remember weights can be reported in 1/10 of pound increments ie xxx.x pounds.

Please report by midnight Tuesday
If you are late report as soon as you remember. I know sometimes RL (real life) is more important.

Please PM or email your weekly report to Brenda (dare2dream) I am not much of a contributor on our weekly thread but I do read every post. I think Tuesdays are great when everyone checks in to report their weekly progress. It helps to keep us all accountable and it's fun to share your success. Last week I noticed several reports from people I never got a PM or email from. I went through the entire thread and checked. 8 people reported their progress here but never reported to me.

Now folks, help out a weight keeper here please!! Please report your weekly weight to Brenda by PM or email to brenda@kbelectric.biz. Remember to report by midnight Tuesday and remember to report in pounds ie xxx pounds (not just I lost x pounds). PrettyPlease!!
 
Good morning everyone! Sadly I am up 1.5 pounds this week. I made some bad choices over the last week and with my ankle acting up didn't get in very much exercise.

Got a brace for my ankle and it really helped me with my workout last night. I also did a much better job of staying on program yesterday so off to a good start with the new week.

Congrats to all those who lost past week and to those who maintained or gained we know we can do it - we are worth it!

Good Morning again.

WDWLVR YOu can do it. I usually go up after a loss so that is understandable. SOrry to hear about the ankle. I have 2 bad ones. I think my ankle just found out we are going to Disney in a few months. ONe has been giving me trouble when I wake up in the morning over the past couple of weeks. It almost feels like the bone spurs I had a few years ago. The last few times we have been at Disney my feet have been a problem.. I know where all the places that sell aspirin are. DH even threatened to get me a wheel chair one time.


Question of the Day

If you stay the same for a week do you feel your weight loss in other ways?

This week I was a little surprised to find that I did not lose any weight. My pants were feeling a little looser and my waist area seemed smaller. Maybe it means a loss next week if I keep this up.

I am down 0.6 this week. Good luck to everyone on their weighins. But remember that this is a new week now and the past is the past. We can all be awesome next week.
 

I really thought I would gain this week. Did not care yesterday so ate a giant grilled cheese and was sick all afternoon...not literally but felt blech. That will teach me...;) I got on the scale thinking this is it, I am not doing this anymore and I lost 2.4 pounds. I officially made my first goal I set way back in mid August. I am officially down under a very BIG number. I made my next goal, another 25 pounds by the end of April. :goodvibes Good luck to all gainers and losers alike. We CAN do it!

Definately! Clothes are fitting better and most importantly I'm feeling better! I know that my progress is going to be slow so there will be gain from time to time and a maintain too. All part of the journey!



As for my ankle. I broke it way back in 1980. It still has the pins from that break and a rod going up my leg (hey when I do something I do it big). :) Over the years I've developed severe arthritis. That's one of the reasons I like doing WATP - they don't cause too much pressure. I could never be a runner. On our trips to WDW I use a lot of Advil and usually about once a trip it kind of locks up on me and I can't walk for a while. It is what it is and I try not to let it get me down.
 
i am down just a tad...but still a lower number and i'll take it! i dont' deserve it, i didn't journal last week, but i have been consistent with my exercise and last night got a great workout in. i'm sure that helped me :teeth:

Good job Wendy,

I walked yesterday too since the gym was closed. I just find it boring, but I did it for a hour.

Mary hang in there, don't try to do too much and re hurt your ankle.

I am down 3.5----amazing. I dpn't know why one week is so much better, but I will take it.

QOTD If I don't lose I feel it in just getting healthier and staying on track w/ exercise. My clothes are fitting better so that helps.

I also had a not so good week, the scale showed a 0.2 loss, AF is knocking on the door so that also may factor in, I did exercise Mon, tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat and again on Monday, so that is a good thing. I am back on track today eating wise!

Thanks for letting me join everyone! So yesterday (the date I joined) I was at 198.8 and today I weigh 197.8!!! So I'll say my loss for the week is 1 lb. I have been trying to get past 198 since the beginning of the year so this is big!!!

I'm down 2.6 this week! This weeks challenge really helped me step up the exercise and I think that makes a big difference for me.

And I made it past the Valetine candy! It didn't even really bother me! I'm finally back to the point where I can look at the kids cookies/candy and not even want them!

I've seen evidence of progress even if the scale stayed the same in how my clothes fit. I have a pair of pants that will fall down if I jump up and down! I found this out playing dance dance revolution with DD14! It was pretty funny!

I measure & I encourage everyone else to as well! If there's no loss on the scale, there's usually a loss on the meausring tape. You wouldn't believe the inches I have lost and after 35 lbs. I fit in some jeans I couldn't wear before, but they're the same size as my old ones that still fit, just a little loose. I have to wonder if my size will ever change from an 18.
 
I am up .4. All in all, not bad though. I am still paying for how bad I was when my mom visited two weeks ago and I was sooo hungry last week. I am a little disappointed, but I am off to a good start this week so it is ok. I have pushed back this months goal, so as not to mentally injure myself. I wanted to lose 10 lbs this month, but so far I have only lost 1:sad2: ! So I have moved my March 1 goal to April 1.
 
I'm up and down this week. I was up to 306 on Friday last week and back down to 303 today. I am back to eating right. I stayed within my limits yesterday and have a good start today.

QOTD- Even thought i've been gaining I feel better.

I'm down 1.6 this week. Dona, great QOTD. I was going to come on here and post that the # isn't as exciting as the changes that I'm seeing. So I smiled when I saw your question.

And I read how you maintained and yet see a big difference. I find that very common, where the scale doesn't match the roominess in my clothes or sometimes vice versa. I think there was one week, maybe two weeks ago, on here that I lost over 3 pounds and yet didn't see much of a body change at all that week. So it goes both ways for me and probably everyone of course. I find it all very interesting when I'm in a good mood and very frustrating when I'm in a crappy one!:lmao:

Debi! You do Dance Revolution. Fun! I want to do that. I don't have any systems though. What is the cheapest way of getting a program like that? Is there one that would hook right up to a TV without buying a system? Probably dreaming on that but if anyone knows.....

I know what you mean.... I weighed in last night and lost all of .2 pounds this week.... Its a loss, but not nearly as much as I had hoped for.... I did have new measurements taken and found out that I lost another 4 inches total from my bust, waist and hips so that was a definite plus....

I was surprised to be down .8 this week, after my run-in with a bag of chips, but am very happy. I have been exercising faithfully, and journalling all my food, so that definitely makes a difference. I know if I didn't write down those 24 points of chips, I would have kept on munching.

QOTD-If I don't see a loss when I am expecting one, how I feel depends on my frame of mind at the time. I do feel it in my clothes, especially my scrub pants. I am about where I was last fall now, and they fit perfect, but in december when I was up just 6 pounds more, they were snug. I threw away the larger size, in hopes that it would keep me from spiralling up again, and so far so good. This is the first time I have consistently exercised, and I have a variety of jeans and am now into an old pair of levi's size 16 that didn't fit last fall, even at the same weight, so I'm seeing for the first time what exercise will really do.

Congratulations to everyone here- losers, gainers, and maintainers!! We are on the road to better health, and we'll have our ups and downs, and so long as we don't give up we are doing our bodies and our souls good!! We can do this!!:cheer2:

I had a slight loss this week which is okay. As long as I am going down I don't mind taking a while to get there.

I feel the same way! The last several weeks have been maintains or 1lb losses. However, my pants started feeling looser the two maintain weeks and last week I thought that my face looked thinner.
