Hi everyone,

Weigh in today. Lots of posts. Gain, maintain, or lose, we are all winners just for being here.

I am down 0.5 pounds this week. No so bad as I really have not been doing the best with food, esp at a brunch on Sunday.

Anyhow, I am happy.

Congrats to the bigger losers and their amounts.

I am so pumped.....after I went to write down my weight for today I realized I actually maintained this week after all - NO GAIN!! Yes!! I am pumped!! Next week I'm going for that Biggest Loser clippie....I had a bad couple of weeks but I'm back to where I should be!!

Hey everyone. I didn't post in last week because I was ashamed of gaining again! I had gained 1.5# and I was so upset. Well, the good news is that I have lost that 1.5# this week!!!!!!

Still haven't heard back for scheduling an interview, still hoping.... last night I dreamt I worked there!:thumbsup2

Hey everyone!! Where has everyone gone? We used to have pages and pages of posts where I couldn't keep up with it - and now there may be one or two new posts when I check in. I know I don't post daily....but I try to post 2 or 3 times a week at least. It seems like we have lost a lot of people since the beginning.

On to the Biggest Loser last night. I cannot believe that they did not show us elimination last night. Between Maggie and Brittney I'd really like to see Brittney stay. She is such a competitor and she seems to be struggling so much right now that I don't think it's the time for her to go home. And of all people why did it have to be Mark to come back....he just irritates me to no end. He is so cocky and arrogant. But on the flip side - Man Ali looks awesome!!

Well - here's to a LOSER day :rotfl:

Your Personality Type: INSPIRATIONAL
You're the type who catalyzes other people into action. You know how to say all the right things, which is why people gravitate toward you, tell you their problems, and look to you for inspiration. You're creative and are concerned about achieving personal growth.

Your Exercise Rx:
Dual-purpose exercise. To you, working out is engaging only when it's about more than just your body. You are more apt to enjoy it if it's about being part of a community or about exploring your inner self. To enhance your spiritual side, try listening to music to set the mood for a peaceful workout.

I agree about the elimination. Why couldn't they show it last night. :confused3 I think Ali looks awesome and give her credit for wanting to stay pink for herself and her mom. Having never gotten to the blue vs. black stage I think it was the right choice.

I think one of the funniest moments of the night was when Jackie saw Dan's tatoo and said to the guys "you were going to look after him" and then they showed they all had them too. :lmao:

Your Personality Type: SPONTANEOUS
Life is a game, and your strategy is always changing. While you aren't much for rules, you'll follow them if they're simple and help you have fun.

Your Exercise Rx:
Short but sweet activities that allow you to accumulate exercise time throughout the day may be a good choice, says Ross Andersen, PhD, director of exercise science at Johns Hopkins' weight management center. Spontaneous types also tend to do well with games.

Not total inaccurate, although it says long solitary things are not for me and I LOVE my long walks.

Hope everyone is having a great day! My department is ordering mexican for our lunch meeting and I refused to order anything! I am so proud of myself because it is very hard for me to resist mexican food!

My exercise personality is also inspirational. Not sure how accurate it all is, but it did list water aerobics as a good exercise choice for me. I LOVE water aerobics!!

I have to report a small gain this week. I am up .4 . Truely struggling with things the past few months. But thankfully I am not really gaining (much). Just staying the same. Life is just so stressfull and I am letting things get in the way. Having to work extra shifts, family obligations etc and not making working out and MYSELF priority. I will get back in the swing of things because I refuse to give up.

Took the exercise personality quiz...

Best Choices

Softball
Volleyball
Soccer
Dance classes
Water aerobics
Martial arts
Trail running
Swimming
Tai chi

Leisure Activities
Your first priority is to work regular exercise into your week. But also think about using your leisure time to burn off a few extra calories. Here are some extracurricular activities for your personality type:

nature walks
yoga

Obstacles
Different personalities don't just take to different activities; they have to contend with different obstacles too. Here's what you might find in your path, as well as ways to get around it:
Because you may often engage in activities that involve instructors or coaches, you run the risk of being turned off by corrections or criticism aimed at you--or anyone else in your group.
Solution: Remind yourself that the teacher or coach is only trying to help you; if that doesn't work, look for a class or team that focuses more on teamwork or a teacher or coach whose style you prefer.

I so agree, even though I don't have time to post a lot I enjoy reading what others post. I thought I was going nuts last night watching BL. I flipped the channel when the commercial came on and flipped back on and it never came back on!:scared1: I thought I missed it.

Hi everyone. I've been awful about checking in on the DIS lately...life has been so, so hectic. I lost 3 pounds last week, which surprised me because I had two really successful weeks in a row. I usually have one good one then one mediocre one, so I'm planning for mediocre this week.

Hang in there, everybody! We're all in this for the long haul!
