Biggest Hit on Christmas Morning?

This was a very lean Christmas for us due to DH lay off and DM pending layoff, but I listened to son's wants very carefully and with great deals online on Black Friday - he got his 3 requests (Legos and double light saber) plus a great yard sale deal of 2 fighting star wars figures. After he opened gifts he said this was the best Christmas ever. WOW - just proves not how many gifts just need to listen to what he wants.

And one of those lego kits took DH and me 6 hours to put together (900 pieces).

For DD (9) it was the zhu zhus and the animal crossing game for the wii.

Dh loves his new call of duty game and I am so excited about $$$ for my horse saddle.

DS loves his laptop, and DD chose to keep her netbook (I gave her the option of returning it for the DSi instead) -- they've both been used nearly non-stop since Christmas.

Lego Indiana Jones for Wii has been played with a lot as well!

Definately a giant whoopie cushion and the remote fart machine.

My son got the remote fart machine too! He loves it although it is already out of battery power. Have to go buy a new battery today!

DD13's iPod Touch was probably the biggest surprise of the day. Also, DS15 got a new amp for his guitar. What was Santa thinking when he bought that one? I think it was a moment of insanity! The Red Ryder BB gun for DS10 was a huge hit as well. He loves it!

DD6: hard to say, but the most talked about gift was the barbie makeup set her uncle (my brother) bought her... that I told him she was too young for

DD3: Leapster 2. She has been asking for one for months. They both have spent hours over the weekend playing with the new leapster games - Princess and the Frog, Pet Pals, and Tinkerbell. At least they are sharing

Me: I but myself gifts, so of course I loved everything But my favorite was actually an outfit my sister got me. So comfy

The Red Ryder BB gun for DS10 was a huge hit as well. He loves it!

You'll shoot your eye out! LOL!! Tell him to be careful! DS18's favorite gift was a REAL gun. A Savage 111 Win Mag 300... he got his first BB gun around 10 too so be ready...

Definitely the Wii. The kids have been asking for one since they first came out and I kept telling them that I wasn't going to buy one, not enough games that we'd be interested in...etc. Well, this year I bought one and about 10 games, extra controllers....the whole 9 yards. I put it in a Santa bag and hid it. They opened all their presents and we cleaned up....I started cooking and then started asking my husband if he'd heard the noise outside the front door earlier that morning? I opened the front door and gasp, I had the santa bag hid inside the house....but still they thought I'd gotten it from outside since they were in the living room they only heard the door open and close. I said that the new puppy must have scared Santa and so he left it on the front steps (my teens of course knew better...but still fun). Everyone was so surprised that a whole bag of toys had been left.....they didn't expect anything else. When they saw it was a Wii system and games.....they were floored.

They haven't stopped playing it since LOL
