Definitely the ICE coaster. Hulk is too rough, and the only part of it I enjoyed was the take-off. Ice and Fire were similar to each other, but for some reason Ice seemed much smoother.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Look on it as an adventure, not as a torture!

goofy - I just wanted to encourage you in your coaster panic. I too am a "coaster chicken", but can ride the Hulk with no problem (scared to DEATH my first time, but now I love it!). I agree with everyone's comments here - try to ride in the front! That's the only way I can handle it. And you may want to close your eyes just for the launch part. Seeing yourself being blasted out of that tube with nothing but blue sky in front of you can be somewhat daunting!

If you can ride JP & handle the drop (I find it scarier than Hulk), than you will be just fine. On the Hulk, there are no drops (except for a smaller one near the end after the picture) - you will not get any sensations in your stomach like you do on JP (which is what I don't like about drops....)

Here's how that ride goes:

1.) Launch
2.) 0 to 120 mph in 4 seconds
3.) Go up 400 feet to the sky
4.) Go down
5.) Twist
6.) Brake

If you can, I'd reccomend going on the Mummy first, then Hulk, since they have similar elements, although naturally the hulk is much bigger.

I never understood why people were afraid of loops. A few weeks ago I went to IOA and people would be standing right in front of a loop and ask the employee if the coaster goes upside down!! Can you believe it?

Anyway, the Hulk will be better, the launch is absolutely exhilirating, and you almost never feel light or like you're falling out of your seat

I guess I should be thankful that it's not Pteradon (sp?) Flyers! For this #1 chicken of heights, THAT is my worst nightmare!

Ooooh no it's not. You think the Pteronadon Flyers are bad for people with a fear of heights? There's a doctor I should introduce you to.... He'll take your fear of heights and... uhh... well, make it worse. But he means well. Just look for the 2 ominous towers. You can't miss them.

So far I have survived Mummy.... and I have to admit it was great!! Was actually buckled in on Ice today when the ride Op had a change of mind hat our DS7 was maybe too short, (after he measured him once and passed him) pulled him off the ride and went to measure him again and decided that maybe he was too short (he is just on the line). I was saved by having to go to baby swap with him.

So Hulk and Ice will have to wait another day. Tomorrow is Sea World (since IOA is closing at 7), so I will have to ride Hulk on Friday.

Dark Marauder...were you working last night (Tuesday) about 8:30pm? A person came up to us as we were loading with his scarab on his arm. I was halfway onto the ride, otherwise I would have asked if that was you.

So, for anyone else debating about Mummy, this biggest chicken ever survived and LOVED it!! Even kept her eyes open and dinner down.

Well, if you want to get your "big" coaster over with, there's always Kraken In all honesty while it's taller than Hulk, it is smoother and it's not inverted (doesn't hang from the track) although it's floorless. No launch either, just a long climb up the hill.

Glad you liked Mummy. I think it's awesome.
