No...there are no characters at the BBQ. There is usually a singer and musician to provide entertainment, but no characters.

Woody or Jessie sometimes meeting guests over in Big Thunder Ranch. You can sometimes catch a glimpse of them walking from backstage to the meet and greet (or vice-a-versa), but at most, they will wave to the guests in the restaurant.

They don't visit the tables, but they come from behind the stage. Then they walk over maybe 50ft to this little log cabin and take pictures there. So it's sorta a character meal, but not really. Of course, if that's the case....then the Village Haus is a character meal because I saw Anna and Elsa walk through to get to their meet and greet once.
