Big Thunder Ranch BBQ ???

I know they take them, not sure if necessary - wondering that myself ;)

Reservations recommended but usually you can get them the day before or even day of. But do not wait if you know. Make them now.

Lots of fun. We have done dinner once and lunch once. Dinner has a little bit more selection and we preferred that.

We ate at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ for dinner on Friday (8/26) with a 6pm reservation and it was only about half filled when we arrived. As we were eating, the dining area filled up and upon leaving saw several groups with pagers in the waiting area.

Reservations would be recommended to avoid a wait.

Enjoy!

It's funny how I already know where we will be dining for our WDW trip in April but I'm having the hardest time figuring out next month ;) maybe because it will be our first trip to DLR.

It is actually one of the underappreciated (by WDW vets) beauties of DLR. Decide to go a week ahead of time and you do not have to miss anything - shows, restaurants or rides.

My family is such - with teens and college students - that it is against the laws of physics for us to plan a trip anywhere 6 months in advance. If I can get two months notice for Disney trips I think I am doing good. It makes it tough to get into the better dining spots at WDW. I have gotten good at searching for cancellations!

I'm going this Sunday. I made a PS last month. I'll post some pictures and review when I get back!

We did lunch 8/12 without a reservation. Waited about 20 minutes. We did lunch and found that to be a great bargain. I think the only difference between the two is corn on the cob and sausage for dinner. For $20/person I found it to be worth it. Plus it is AP discounted also.

We've done lunch with no reservation, in June no less. We did have to wait about 15 minutes but that was it. Not bad at all........I always recommend reservations tho, if you know when you want to eat there just do it, it's always better to have your seat reserved just in case. :)

Give yourself some time getting to dinner. There is a lot of Halloween things back there in the ranch to look at.

This is one of our favorite places to eat, and between my two teenaged boys and my DH and DD and me, we get our moneys worth and the food isnt half bad! My favorite, besides the ribs of course is the YUMMY cornbread!

Love the coleslaw...I've made it twice now and you know, I should make it again this weekend. We are having a BBQ, that would be a GREAT addition! :) BEST coleslaw EVER!

We ate there today for the first time, it was yummy and definitely something we will do again. We didn't make a reservation, we just walked up and they gave us a pager thingy and told us it would be about 15 min. Conveniently Woody and Jessie happened by right at that time so we wandered over for the kids to get pics and autographs, and by the time we did that the table was ready for us.

I have never been to the BBQ, but after seeing the pics I think I will have to try it soon.
