Just noticed that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is going down on April 26th (day we arrive) and currently is showing closed all the way through May 5th (maybe longer as that's as far out as it is showing). Bummer, that's my oldest daughters favorite rollercoaster. That means Space Mountain will have longer lines also.

Sorry. MousePlanet has had the BTMRR info posted for several months. If I were you I would be bummed too. Hope everything else goes well!

Didn't know about the mouseplanet site.

It will not deter us from having a great time I know that. It'll just mean more time to explore something else.

They were saying May 5th for BTMRR a few weeks ago but now they are saying May 16th. So in total April 26-May 16. Always disappointing but the kind of thing that happens in off-season periods like then. :sad2:

We have a trip planned the same week. For us it was choice between that week and having BTMRR closed or going the week before and having the Matterhorn closed. We adjusted our plans slightly we so could be in the park on Sunday, and ride BTMRR until we get sick :woohoo:.

On the plus side, it looks like the weekday park hours are 9am-10pm. The last time we went at the end of April the weekday hours were 10-8. It also looks likes there's fireworks every night thanks to the longer hours.

The DL site still only lists until the 26th, but that'll be great if it's open until 10 each night. That means we'll have the time to be able to head back to our rooms for an afternoon rest/siesta.
