Big Thunder Mountain

I was just reading something and it stated the Big Thunder Mountain will be closed in August till November for a refurbishment. Does anyone know what they are planning on doing?

From what I heard. Since the track was recently refurbished, I do not believe they are doing track work. What Disneyland did was a restored town of Rainbow Ridge, and an “explosive” new scene inside the mountain (if this is true ...That one little scene really makes the DL version way better than the WDW version) This is what I believe to be happening. Someone can correct me if I am mistaken though!!
