I just want to say thank you to all on this board.

We had booked Alamo for our recent trip but after reading about the long lines for Alamo, decided to switch to National. Best decision we made. When we arrived at MCO, I went to get the car while DW waited for bags. There were at least 10 in line for Alamo and I was able to just walk up to the counter at National. I think I was done even before the next person was called off the Alamo line. I went bvack upstairs, the bags were ready and went to get the car. Total time in airport from gate to car approx 30 minutes.

i almost booked alamo on our trip in january....thank god i didn't (thanks to the posters here for the line info!).

i am not exaggerating when i say there were about at least 50 people in line at alamo. walked over to dollar and walked right up to the counter.

We went last August and had a reservation for Alamo. The line was outrageous! It would have taken 3 hrs to get through to the counter! I walked over to L&M Car rental, for the same price, we were out of there and started to enjoy our vacation!
