:wizard: Hey everybody. I haven't been to either one of the water parks in a while, and I saw the dvd and saw the really big slide at BB. Has anybody been on it. Do you go really fast, and do you like bounce in the air. I also was wondering if there was a wedgie problem, dont get me wrong I love a good wedgie, but I just want to be prepared. :earsboy:

I have been on that slide years ago. I can tell you its pretty scary from the top, but really isn't that bad once you get going. However, i must say that you will get quite a wedgie!! Enjoy! :cool1:

Hello,

I assume you are referring to 'Summit Plummit'

I loved this ride but was very scared at the top (a feeling that didn't go away regardless of how many goes I had!)

It isnt a bumpy ride, I got tons of bruises from the slide next door (can't remember what it is called) but the only uncomfortable thing was the wedgie at the bottom... Oh and your bum (bottom/fanny) hurts 'cos that's what you use to slow down with! :teeth:

I did Summit Plummet in October. While I'm glad I did it once, I am NEVER doing it again!! :sad2: I am a thrill junkie, my DH and I go to Cedar Point every summer and I ride every ride there, including Top Thrill Dragster, the world's tallest (420, I think) and the world's fastest (120 mph) roller coaster. So you think I wouldn't have any problems, right? Wrong? When I went down the slide, I laid down like you are supposed to, I don't remember any of this, but my DH told me that after I pushed off, I sat up. He said the CM was so surprised, he had never seen anyone sit up on the slide before. Like I said, I don't remember any of that, I thought I was laying down. The only thing I can figure is that the force of water pushed me up?? :confused3

As far as the wedgie, I had a massive one. I tried to keep my ankles crossed, but they came uncrossed and I couldn't get them back together, so I was flying down the slide with my legs flailing wildly about. I'm sure it was quite a sight to see!! :rotfl2: When I got to the bottom, I just laid in the water and then tried to gracefully adjust my swimsuit. I'm glad I did Summit Plummet to say that I did it, but never again. Good luck!!
