BIG sale at Kohl's

I just got back from Kohl's with DBF and found that many items (especially their men's clothing) were majorly on sale. They had several racks & shelves of things that were 70% off the sale prices. My DBF got 3 really nice golf shirts that normally would have been a little over $100 for $17!!! We didn't really have much time to shop around, but I also bought a close friend a $30 gift card and a birthday card which brought our total to $51 and when you spend $50 you get a $10 rebate card for your next visit, so basically his golf shirts were almost FREE Gotta love a bargain Just wanted to let everyone know. They also had a HUGE amount of racks that were 50% off the sale prices- still a great deal!

Thanks for the tip - I need to get DH some shorts for our Nov trip...plus I've been losing more weight (thanks to Weight Watchers) so I might just get some shorts in the next size down for ME!

They've had some very nice men's shorts on clearance. I stocked up for my husband. I also found him one pair of jeans. I had one of the $10 certificates that expired one day last week. I ran over on my lunch hour and grabbed him a pair of shorts and the jeans. Paid under $4.

I love Kohls. Unfortunately, it's right down the street...lol

I got my DD a lot of things for vacation like a Tink bathingsuit and some shorts and Tees. I also got a few summer styled frames for only $3.00

From my WISH ribbon you can see that I am having the same 'problem' that you are Gotta love Weight Watchers! I'm waiting a little while, however, because I am still losing and I don't want to buy this new size of clothes and then in another month have to buy a different size. Plus, I don't change sizes that often because I am pretty tall. I lose 20 pounds and still pretty much wear the same size.

I'm glad everyone found such great bargains. I, unfortunately, live very close to a Kohl's too so it's hard not to go there ALL the time, especially because I have their credit card

I got my dd 10 a pair of Carters summer pjs for 3.96(boxer shorts with a tank top type of pjs) and a pair of Levi's jeans shorts for 4.68.

A lady I work with got a part-time job at Kohls. She gets an additional discount and sees all the sale items first.

She only works one or two days a month. Sounds like a good idea for someone who lives close. They seem to be always looking for help.

I actually applied to work there a couple nights a week just for some extra spending money (and for the discount ) They told me that I was overqualified to work there part time. Geez!

I worked there a few years ago for a couple Christmas seasons and if I remember correctly its not a whole lot over minimum wage..its not exactly minimum though - of course the discounts do help!

My DH works retail and they typically pay $6.50 around here for part time.

I guess that depends on where you are. MY DS has a degree in Mechanical Enginnering with a specialty in materials and he is employed by Kohl's as a POS supervisor because there are NO jobs in his field around here. He makes close to $9.00 an hour. Great job for my $60,000 investment in his college education!!!!

Don't get me wrong, he has been working at Kohl's for about 6 years (all through college) and it has been a great company to work for. The discount for HIM (it does NOT apply to parents) is 10% - 20% depending on if it is hardlines or softlines.

I love thier clothes and it is the ONLY place I shop lately for my "professional attire"!
