Big River Grille or Spoodles

Which would you pick and why? I wanted to try Spoodles but the menu seemed a little limited. what do you think?

Spoodles was awesome, we ate there in late June and the pasta dishes were out of this world, the pasta was cooked perfectly

Another vote for Spoodles. We eat there quite often and have never had a bad meal. You get bread before the meal with an oil and olive mixture for dipping, which is really good. On the other hand, we've eaten at Big River and did not have good meals. We've only tried it one time, though, so it could've been just plain old bad luck.

We are a BCV family and are there about every two years. When we visit, we ALWAYS go to Big River Grille, usually more than once during a trip. The gang went to spoodles last time and found it... "okay" ... but nobody was blown away by it.

They are two very different venues in my opinion. I have had good experiences at each but I must say Big River Grille is a must-do for our family.

They have a good cheese soup and we love to get the flight of their beers and then usually order the Pale Ale. Great on a hot day. I have heard mixed reviews about the food, but we have had good food here. They usually have some daily special or featured entree and I usually go with that.

We also like to eat here because it is a great place to people watch.

Of those two choices, I would pick Spoodles.

Have also eaten at both and do like both. They both have thier advantages. Spoodles is a lot more open with more room and a nice feel to it. The Brewing Co. has great ribs and a fabulous cheese soup with outdoor seating. and the beers are great. It really depends on what you're looking for

Big River Grille. We finally tried Spoodles in May 2008 because we heard good reviews and our home resort is Boardwalk. But, I must say everyone in our party was disappointed...maybe we just had an off night?!?

we used to like Spoodles until they changed their menu, and we haven't been back b/c they took a couple of great items off.
We walked into the Big River Grille once, and it was crowded beyond belief, and FILTHY, and we left. I've never been back since, so I can't comment on the actual food. It does look nice to sit outside though (as long as the birds don't dive bomb!)

Spoodles. We tried Big River Grille but it wasn't really liked by anyone in the party. Spoodles has great choices and everybody loved it.
