Big River Grille & Brewing Works...Some Questions

Was wondering if anyone has recently eaten dinner at Big River Grille & Brewing Works.

How was the food?

How long a wait was it for a table as I don't believe they take PS's?

We'll probably be there during a holiday weekend so I'm assuming it will be rather busy. Should we skip this restaurant and make a PS for some other place? How's Spoodles?

I have not eaten there. I just want to give you a heads up on a thread I read recently on the Budget Board about this restaurant. Evidently they have their own membership card, like RFC has their Safari Club.

DH and I really enjoyed this restaurant on our last visit. I had a chicken dish that was deeelicious! However, I would only eat here at an outside table. Sitting on the boardwalk eating our meal was really nice. The inside dining experience leaves a little to be desired imho.

I ate there last month. I love their hamburgers. It was about 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon, we were seated immediately, although it was pretty full. If the weather is good, the outside seating is nice.

We ate there last Dec. and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it was too cold to eat outside so we ate inside and I agree that the inside seating is nothing special at all. Try the cheese soup - it is as good as Le Cellier! Yum!

Oh - I forgot to say that my husband and son were there two days ago when Disney was VERY busy (builders convention in town with 100,000+ people and the rooms were pretty much sold out all over town) and they were able to get right in. My husband really liked his food - this was his first visit.

I'm glad to see some good reviews on the place as I have seen less than flattering comments on it in the past. I have not tried it, but I can tell you that of the micro-breweries I have visited around the country, the food was universally bland, but the beer was good. You are probably ok with basics like burgers.

We've always enjoyed it here for lunch. Nothing fantastic, but always good with great service. I've never understood all of the terrible reviews. We must just be lucky. That said, there's no comparison between BRG and Spoodles. Spoodles is delicious.

My family had lunch here in October. We enjoyed the food. And we didn't have to wait for seating.
