Big River Grille and Brewing Works or Captain's Grille for lunch??

Hey guys. Which restaurant do you prefer? We have never been to either.

DH and I like Big River Grille and Brewing Works. It's a cool atmosphere. The Beef Nachos, Bacon Burger & Ribs are good. For another lunch spot @ Boardwalk we also like ESPN. Their pulled pork sandwich is delish!!

We've dined at both. Just depends on your mood. The livelier place would be Big River as it's right on the BW. You can sit outside (just don't mind the birds) or inside. Food is "grill" quality. Service is good.

Captains Galley is more laid back and quiet. I do like their crab cakes We always liked it here because it was a nice rest from the parks but if you want to sit outside I'd recommend Big River. I think the food is pretty comparable. Take a look at their menus at allears.net and see what you might prefer. You can make an ADR at Captains Galley but you need to call Big River direct (I believe). For lunch you may not even need an ADR depending on what time of the year you're going. If you want a late lunch Big River is opened all afternoon but Captains Galley does close around 2:00.

I have never been at Captains Grill but went to Big River Brewery for the first time last thursday.
We all enjoyed our meals very much. The guys had burgers and the girls went with the meat loaf........ all very tasty!!!
The beer drinkers enjoyed sampling their variety of beers, and the guys got to watch the Yankee game so a good time was had by all!!!

I have never been to Big River Grille, but I have been at the Captain's Grill and thought my meal there was good but not spectacular.
