at the Boardwalk...Anyone been there? I never see anything in this.

We were there in March. I had a good salad and DH had a burger. Very good choices in beer. One suggestion, if you don't like being bothered by birds eat inside.

I've eaten there twice and the food was ok, but the service was awful both times. Won't eat there again.

We had a terrible lunch there about a year ago. After 2 attempts to not burn my hamburger beyond recognition, I gave up. Service was slow and lacked friendliness. Dining area was very messy. We won't go again.

I always make a visit there. I love the salads. The best is a cold beer, sitting outside and people wathcing!!

I guess I'm the exception. I thought the food was fine. Better than ESPN but probably not as good as Spooles or Yacht Club Gallery.

Now THIS is my thread. I *always* recommend the Brewery...and if the Brewmaster is there, ask for the tour! :3dglasses

Ive posted these pics in other threads, but here they go again:

only complaint is that they dont have a fryer, therefore they cant provide fries with your burger...but the awesome beer makes up for it! :crazy

Sometimes we've dealt with slow service, but it wasnt to the point that we were complaining, just took some time for them to get to us (it was packed those times) besides we're easy to please :)

My favorite beer is their summer seasonal 'Wowzer Wheat' (look Mel, I remembered the name this time!) and I recommend it to everyone!

Sorry...but yuck, yuck, and YUCK! (JMO) Food-awful. Service-awful. Didn't try the beer. I nicely complained and they seemed bothered that I even opened my mouth at all. Too cramped inside. I'd rather eat at the Spoodles pizza window and I hated that too. And VERY RARELY do I ever complain about restaurants. I may go back there for beer some day when the kids are older or we are alone, but I would never eat there again..unless it's something they can't burn..like mashed potatoes. Everyone has their opinion though.

Sorry the WORST!! We never even made it pass drinks, we walked out, the service was so darn rude and terrible! The only place I EVER ate at in Disney that I would never go back to under any circumstances...just my opinion of course :sad2:

Yep, I agree. We practically had to beg to get waited on. The food was acceptable, but after the poor service, we were turned off.

However, Emme, please don't get turned off to Disney restaurants! I do believe that Big River Grill is a chain, not affiliated with Disney directly. Please don't sell other restaurants on property short. This was about the ONLY bad experience we've ever had on property and certainly not representative of what Disney has to offer. We've eaten at ESPN and foodcourts, all the way up to the higher end venues; such as, The Flying Fish (outstanding), etc. and they have always been consistently beyond our expectations.

NO, no!! You totally missundertood me. I love Disney restaurants :flower: We never even eat offsite! The Big River is the place I would NEVER eat at again. Hope that clears that up :)

We have eaten there twice and don't plan on going back. Nothing special about the food and their salsa was a poor, laughable excuse for salsa. It might as well have been catsup.

The food was OK during our last 2 visits, but the place was VERY cramped. It looks like they did not plan the floor space very well. I see a lot of people here did not care for it, but the place is always mobbed. I guess they must be doing something right.

:) We had great meals in October and last month!! We plan on trying it again in July! :drinking1

We actually only go to the Brewery for burgers and beer. Out of all the times we've been there (at least one time each trip) I can only recall having a bad service experience once...twice tops. In fact, several of the waiters have gone way beyond the call of duty to find the brewmaster and get us a tour of the brewery. That's always a neat addition to our afternoon :cool1:

We really like the food and the beer here. The cashew crusted chicken is yummy!! We love the beer as well..yummmmy!! I wish the seating arrangements inside were more spaced out and comfortable (don't like the barstools at some of the tables)but even with that being said it is a "must do" for us every trip!!

My experience has been that the thing breweries do best is...beer. :teeth:
I'm surprised to hear they can't get a burger right, and WTH is the deal with no deep fryer for fries? :confused3
