We will be spending halloween evening trick or treating at DTD and the Boardwalk area. Its a first trip for most of us...
so, for those of you with much more expierience- what is the likelihood of getting a table at either Big River Grille or ESPN that night for 7 ppl?

we currently have ADR's for Captain Jack's at DTD but i'm thinking i should cancel it after reading reviews. i could technically use CS or TS that night i suppose, if anyone had a better suggestion.
we'd be staying at SSR with Disney transportation only.

Thanks!

You may have a hard time at ESPN Club because of college football. I think that Big River takes some sort of an ADR, you can call them directly and ask

BRBP (or brew dud) is not worth the trip from SSR. Unless you are driving or taking a cab you will have to xfer via a park. I would be that night would be busy.

As for the brew dud --- well, on our list of worst places. Been there 6 times in our 15 years of going to the BW and really dislike the place. ESPN is cool but if busy, might not be the best choice given challenge of getting there. If you do, take and make a night of it and go to Jelly Rolls for a hoot of a time.

GOOD LUCK

We have eaten once at Big Grill and had just an OK meal. Have eaten twice at ESPN and both times have been great!!

Don't know if either are worth the eefort of going over to the BW from DTD or SSR. DW & I love Big River (love the ribs!), but it's much more difficult getting in for dinner than lunch. ESPN, had a big issue there while eating dinner in May. We were in a booth along the wall and the table was invaded by ants. Not one or two but an army that came from the wall onto the table. The staff acted like we were blowing the situation out of proportion. They refused to move us to another table. The manager said that this is what happens in Florida. Needless to say it will be a very long time before we go back.

Well we've often gotten tables for lots of people at Big River, no problem. We once walked up with 15 people and got a table. And regularly go in with 5-7 people.

our family liked the big river grill in april while there. i think you will be able to get in without to much of a wait. call in advance or go there first and put your name in and then do some of your walking around while waiting on your table.

we also went to espn and will NEVER go back. it was the worse meal of our 10 day trip. the food was horrible and the service including the manager was even worse than the food. and the sad part was there was so many empty tables that there was no reason for it to be as bad as it was. never again!

thanks all! i did the call ahead priority seating for 530 pm on halloween. i wanted 430, but that was the closest- figure i'll show up a little bit early and if they can seat us early, great. we will trick or treat there and dtd afterwards.
