I have been on 6 disney cruises. We love them. They are aussumn. I remember very well though my first cruise which was the first big red boat cruise operated with looney tunes. Here is my tip report. **** Please Note that I am terribly sorry if I did not make it long but I was three and dont temmber alot.
We first drove up to Port Canaveral like you do at every disney cruise. We drove up to the port. The Big Red Boat Port reminded me alot of a carnival cruise port. It was very dull and drabby. It almost looked like a haunted house. Anyhow we got everything set and then walked outsude and they took our picture with a cartoon image of a looney tune. After that we went onboard. I remmber they had ice cream and since I was about 3 years old Thats all I ate on that cruise. The buffet I rember was really fancy with alot of non id friendly food. The only item I really remmber was though the carved Filet Mignon. After that we went to the pool and relaxed. It was very small and there was only one. We walked around and then went back to our room. Our room had a verandah and it was still a dump. There was mold everywhere including the bathtub. It was discusting. We then immediately upgraded to a suite. For dinner I remmber I had to wear a tux. I do admit even though it was a very dumpy ship they took care of the kids at night. They place all the kids at the pool and had a buffet and clowns and lonoey tune charcters and it was fun. We then ate dinner. I dont remmebr anything about that. For bed we went to sleep and we woke up to Nassau. At nassau we got off the ship and walked around. When we got back onboards we went to the pool. We only went for two nights. At dinner the last night the characters came in to the dinning room and danced around the tables and then said by. We then went to bed and had to be called off the next morning in color codes like carnival or royal carribean.
In conclusion Disney service on their cruise line was alot better. It was cleaner and they reat you nicer.
