Big question about Discovery Cove day!

We are going to be there next Tuesday! My 12 yo twin daughters and dh are in the Trainer for the Day and myself and the 7 yo are doing the regular admission. We want to do the general Dolphin swim together. Will they do that or the Trainer of the Day is totally separate?

When I went back in 2008 there was 1 guy (probably early-mid 20's) doing Trainer for Day but his Mum hung around our group for the aviary meet, sloth (I think) meet, and then was part of our group for the general swim. She stayed on the beach for the 2nd swim to watch.

Things may have changed though so hopefully someone will be along with recent advice soon.
