Big group going in November. Best time to purchase tickets?

Hi everyone! I'm planning a pretty big group trip for November, 15-16 adults. Half first timers, half have been with us before. I'm handling all the planning and keeping track of payments and all that so I'm basically just telling them when to send me money and booking everything. I was going to book as a package, but still holding out hope that my husband and I can get APs before then and we have a couple people who don't want to do Disney every day/are only staying for a couple days. I was planning on buying park tickets by July and making our park reservations then. Do you guys think that would be sufficient time/have enough availability 4 months out?

I would keep an eye on the Park Availability Calendar as this year things are just not normal. If you find dates are filling in October and/or November (other than Oct 1) I'd highly consider booking.
