Big Fat Liar--Audrey Seiler case developments

Just saw a news conference on CNN--Audrey Seiler made up her story and "just wanted to be alone" as she said to the police last night--although now she has a story about being abducted at knifepoint--shame on her for doing this to her family and the people of Madison Wisconsin! It's an insult to every woman who was ever really abducted!

And this isn't the first time she's said something like that...the girl is crying for attention, I think she needs some psychological help, hopefully her parents will push her that direction.

I'm kinda confused after this conference. She wanted to be alone. ok. But at the same time she was abducted? So was she taken the whole 4 days? I hate when the details don't come out. Sounds really fishy to me. Her credibility just went out the window and the poor souls that searched for her for days are gonna be plenty mad.

As of now, she still says she was abducted -- just that it occurred outside her residence as opposed to at her residence (as in her original story).

I work for the WI Dept of Revenue. I know the person who spotted her and called authorities. You would not believe all the commotion this whole situation has caused! Our building was surrounded by police with high powered rifles, media trucks and helicopters. Not much work got done here the afternoon she was found. Coincidentally, she was found right across the street from the hotel where her family and other searchers from her hometown were staying.

In early February she was also supposedly attached from behind about a block from her apartment, knocked unconscious, and them moved to a different location where she was eventually found. There was apparently no robbery or sexual assault. This whole situation is really strange.

I guess we'll just have to wait until the entire real story comes out.

Boy, I couldn't agree more with every word you wrote Preshi.
People have the right to be mad at her for pulling a stunt like this but if it's the second time she's made up a story about being attacked she's got some psychological problems that need to be addressed....the sooner the better.

Obviously she has severe emotional problems. She can be prosecuted for filing a false police report and actually that would be good if the police pursue that course of action. Then she could be court ordered to seek psychiatric help. If not, I am afraid the next time we hear her name she may be a victim of suicide.

Very sad indeed for all involved. I too think it is a cry for help and i hope she gets it.

Psychiatric help is definitely in order. And her parents kept on saying that Audrey was a very sensible girl who always thought everything out, so that tells you she's having some mental problems.

They are having another press conference in a few minutes to release new information. It was supposed to start at 12:30 but it is just starting now.

What's even more unfortunate, is that we will never know the truth. Her credibility is shot. What can we believe?

When I heard about the first time, I thought maybe she is being stalked?

I'll tell you something else, if I had been attacked from behind and knocked out, it would be a long time before I would be going anywhere by myself! And no way that would be at 2:30 in the morning, that's for sure!!!
