BIG change to FP+ today

Have never once said, "remember that time we went on Space Mountain".

I still remember riding SM for the first time when it opened in 1975. I also remember my dad winning over $100,000 more than once fishing in Bassmaster tournaments I have never once said, "I like fishing at Disney more than riding Space Mountain". Bcrook is correct...you are Disney's favorite customer (although not the norm).

Some of you are cracking me up. :rotfl:

I see one possible danger in forcing people to slow down and smell the roses. Some of those flowers are named Stitch and Imagination and so on. Why force people to "enjoy" some of those attractions that perhaps should be by passed?

I like so many of you can just hang out in World Showcase though. I can also ride Star Tours countless times to stay busy at DHS. Epcot Future World is just plain sad and AK is nice but doesn't have much there. Hmmmm... Maybe all of this is to get people to spend more time at AK!

Ah....another new motto for Disney parks.

:lmao: I love this! This is now the official motto for our spring break trip!!

I do like me some Star Tours....especially with the random scene aspect. I'm not even a huge Star Wars fan but I do find that ride quite enjoyable. Since we have "at least" 4 years before anything new opens at AK I think they should just bring in some Pandas. People like Pandas.

Soooo, is writing in pink font with sugary sweet words a way to make fun of someone like myself?

Not sure why you'd laugh at someone who was just trying to converse and trying to see a bright side to some changes that may or may not be good, but as long as I know I'm being laughed at, I can live with it. :)

Good lord, I never realized I was a positive person until fast pass plus! I always thought of myself as a cynic....hmmm ;)

I suspect that this isn't at all directed at you. I could be wrong but I have other ideas. :)

NO! NO! NO! It's really not you. Please don't take it that way. Even though I am considered "bad" here....you can trust me on this one. :goodvibes

Wow! I don't go to WDW until a new headliner shows up and if it happens to fit into my schedule. I went 10 years between visits and this time it will be 4. I did go to DLR/CA for Carsland last year though. The idea that if all the headliners closed, a person would still go just doesn't sit in my brain. I can always find somewhere else to go until something new is built.

I am pretty sure that Disney is the only place that offers fishing, golf, semi-decent restaurants, shopping and alcohol. Perhaps it's the princesses that draws them in?

On a side note....there are a lot cheaper places to fish STOCKED lakes. ;)

I am not sure the value is there with FP+ and definitely not with tiers. That is the point of the thread.

I couldn't agree more. That's exactly what I am thinking.

And what the hell is up with the advertising on DIS? This is what I get at the bottom of my screen.

I am 47, don't play video games and don't visit "gamer" sites. Maybe Disney is trying to tell me I should take up other interests? :)

That cuts me..........deep. :rotfl:

Still happy about the change, but keep trying. :cool1:

HAHa, was kinda kidding-you are still trying. :rotfl2:

I can fish from my couch below-and yes that is cheap, but once it freezes for 6 months, and we are at WDW it's a great option.

Completely off topic, but the way those ads work, you must have visited a site or done a search on keywords that were related to what they are displaying. it isn't the DIS targeting you, it's the advertisers through their browser cookies, etc.

I did look up the word "fabulous"....perhaps that's it. :)

I'm getting the same male gamers ad. Um, no. :scared:

Ok, Doc...now what? I can pretty much guarantee Plano and I aren't sitting in our parent's basements wearing skimpy garb while trying to blow the other one up with some weapon or another.

Well, given lack of relevant cookie data, it will often base on page content to deliver something relevant to the page you are viewing...but I don't see THAT as a driver, unless they equate die-hard WDW geeks with male gamers. :)

Maybe it's too much fabulous pink text... :)

Maybe it is getting time to rethink this.....:scratchin:rotfl:pixiedust:
