Big Cedar Lodge

I visited Branson, Mo for the first time this past weekend and drove out to Big Cedar Lodge for lunch. This resort is part of the DVC Concierge Collection and I have to tell you all that this is an absolutely beautiful place. The resort is situated on cliffs overlooking a lake. They have golf, horseback riding, fishing, a spa. I can't wait to go back using points. Has anyone been there and able to shed more light on the accommodations? There are lodge rooms & private cabins listed as available to book with points. Just wondering if anyone has experience and could recommend one over the other.

but some friends of mine had there honeymoon there. I suggested it to them after having checked it out from the disney standpoint. They loved it and said I should go asap. It was everything they hoped for and more. The pictures they brought back were just beautiful. I hope to make a trip there myself sometime this year for a long weekend. I, too, am curious to hear what others think.

Thanks for that thread, we're looking forward to it. Finally, a nice place to use our DVC points that we don't have book airfare to get to. We're envious of the East Coast members that seem to have so many options!
