I download and watch the UK and Canadian versions of Big Brother and enjoy them so, so much more than the US version. I'd love to see a US season done with regular people using the UK rules. That would be a riot.

I almost feel sorry for Josh. I don't think he's a bad person. He's just very immature and the BB house is probably not the best place for him at this point in his life. It's kind of sad to see him cry and even to watch his outrageous behavior (pot banging, etc.). Paul was using him to annoy people and Josh didn't know any better than to say no.

Josh acted like this in the house long before he started working for Paul.

The Canadian version is so different. They really are just everyday people. There's no obvious 'types' like in the US version.

The Canadian version was put on hiatus a few months ago and there was such an outpouring that they recently announced its back next year.

That's good to hear that it's coming back because it's a breath of fresh air considering what the US version has become. If you ever get a chance to watch a season of the UK version you really should. Maybe via Youtube? It's really a fun and entertaining version as well.

Oh I know, I can't take how smug she is. I truly hope she is the one voted out, but Jason needs to come off the block for that to happen. Not sure they will vote her out over Kevin, but there is a chance.

She might not be the best representation.

It just has a whole different environment and game play. I like that the public votes instead of the players. It brings a different element to how they all play the game and act with one another.

Just got back from vacation late Sat nite and finally had time to catch up here this morning. We did a massive marathon of shows on Sunday and the last few on Tues evening. A few thoughts.....

Did anyone else gasp audibly when they showed Raven's good-bye message to Matt??? OMG that lipstick was awful.
She looked frightening.

So funny!!! As soon as the camera was on Raven,.... myself, DH and DD all gasped and started laughing! Even after Zingbot calling her out on her AWFUL make-up (which she didn't understand but I assume someone later explained....) she wears that lipstick when she knows she will be on TV? She is delusional

We all laughed when Raven said her mom was in Mensa and so was she followed by Paul asking what her GPA was in college and that response that she was in dance. Paul's face to the camera was priceless.

Julie's outfit..... those sleeves looked like they were covered in tree moss. Was this some sort of fashion crossover from Project Runway unconventional challenge???? I have always thought she looked classy on the show all these years. CBS must have hired a new wardrobe stylist for her this season and he/she should be FIRED. Most weeks it is a ...really?

I really do not like anyone left in the house. Mark was my last hope....sigh. I agree that Paul is the only one playing a game in the house but I just can't wish for him to win. He has spent the whole season manipulating others to bully and create nasty, hateful situations. I also think it was unfair to the whole season to have only one vet return AND to give him an advantage for the first month of the game basically. It set him up to be the celebrity cult leader he has become. The house (except for Cody) had stars in their eyes from the moment he stepped into the house and started interviewing for "friendship" bracelets.

I guess, at this point, I hope Kevin wins?? unless someone grows a spine and votes out Paul, I just don't have another favorite. I do not think Christmas actually likes/respects Josh but is using him as a vote and ally. I believe she is taking advantage of his immaturity and she treats him as a child which perpetuates the cycle of outbursts and crying as she is there to help him shield his crying from the others.

Raven is pathetic and I hope that karma returns the favor..... I do believe Jason is socially immature and does not fully understand the gravity of his actions and words. He really reminds me of a teenage boy in a man's body. They say and do lots of things that they really don't believe/mean but they are trying to gain the favor of others in very strange ways. Alex is smart but young and self-centered. She strikes me as someone who has been told "how wonderful" she is her whole life and never encouraged to foster genuine empathy for others. This may be Paul's downfall as well. Self-centered with no empathy.

I am sad to read that yet another competition was thrown on Paul's instruction. Blind sheep.....

Josh is having doubts about Paul with Christmas in conversation. Christmas is getting angry with Josh and shutting him down with his doubts about Paul.

POV players are Christmas, Jason, Alex, Paul, Raven, and Kevin. Josh is the only one not playing in POV

Joshs doubts comes from a conversation last night with Paul, he, and Alex. He says that Paul tried to pull Josh into an alliance with Jason and Alex in the conversation. Alex mentioned getting Christmas out. Josh is having major doubts with Paul. Christmas seems very annoyed with Josh about this. She wants Josh to have a conversation with Paul, but she doesn't want Josh to bring her into it. She doesn't want Josh to make Paul have doubts or turn on them. She keeps saying she is getting _______ off, because she doesn't like ripples. She wants him to calm down and analyze the situation. Let the veto play out and then he( Josh), can think about the situation.( with Paul) Josh says he is going to approach Paul at some point about their conversation with Alex. They agree that Raven winning the Veto is the best case scenario
