BIG American breakfast

Which is your favourite place to have a BIG American breakfast......We are staying off site again and last time we only tried Dennys (near Kissimmee old town), as they were open 24/7 and didn`t bat an eyelid what ever we ordered off the menu at 5.00am in the morning...(good old jet lag) any good recommendations for this stay around the 192 area again

Golden Corral near marker 5 on 192 (prefer the one at LBV though!) has a huge buffet breakfast.

We've only tried Ponderosa as staying in a villa allows you to do a quick DIY breakfast as neccessary but I've heard from numerous people that Denny's is better so will be trying it this year. Btw the Ponderosa on the 192 is usually significantly quieter than the one near Universal on IDrive.

We like Golden Corral or Denny's. My favourite at Denny's is The Lumberjack breakfast. It's HUGE and yummy! We haven't been to Florida since 2003, so I hope they still do it. Anyone know?

We did the Ponderosa one and enjoyed it, good range of food including healthy fruit and not so healthy pancakes etc.

I've heard good things about the Golden Corral one so we might try that this time.

Golden Corral by a mile. More choice and better quality food. Try the buffet at night, fanatstic value also.

Ponderosa on 192 was queuing out of the door when we passes last Oct/Nov
I cannot say I would reccommend it as I just don't like buffets so I would say Dennys, the Lumberjack was still on and as scrummy and filling as ever last year. Ihop and VIllage Inn, though this is near seaworld so we go when we are heading that way ..

I love the Meat Lovers Scramble, and Meat Lovers Bowl at Dennys. More than enough food for one breakfast, and tastes brilliant.

Golden Coral is great for breakfast. Loads of choice, and they'll even make you an omelete right in front of you with whatever you want in it!

Ponderossa is also good, though not quite as good as Golden Coral, but not far off.

sory i like to get to parks in morning so usaly coffe and donuts or a bluebery muffin rather have a big meal in the evening

Howdy, Folks
As an American who eats plenty of breakfast, there are only 2 real places to try. Bob Evans (great eats all the time, breakfast served at all hours), and Cracker Barrel. You won't get an all you can eat buffet, but you will get good service and a great meal for a reasonable price.

londonpenguin, thanks for the menu. YUM! montemcintosh, I agree about Cracker Barrel. We went to the one on 192 and the food was fantastic with a price to match. My vote goes here.

We went to CrackerBarrel last trip, and the quality of the food, and the price was excellent....wasnt so impressed with the quantity though, I should have ordered more.....we always like to completely stuff ourselves in the morning on an all-you-can-eat breakfasts, then go the whole day at parks etc, not having anything to eat until tea time. Pondorosa on the 192 is my favorite, i love the little sliced or cubed potatoes, and the "doggy poo" sausages.....cant recommend the bacon though.

Any regular user of Ponderosa will be familiar with the really delicious and juicy sausages.....but they do resemble something unpleasant in looks.
