besides the per day cost savings by buying as many days as possible. I'm assuming it operates like an annual pass because you do the bioscan which retains your information. The thing I like about annual passes is that they can only be used by me so are easy to replace if I loose them (activated annual passes, not vouchers). Should be the same for MYW ticketholders.

I was reading on another site all about the AP discounts, but I didn't see anything about room rate discounts. I thought from reading these boards there was a room discount avaialble by using the AP, but what is it?

A limited number of resort room bookings at a discount can be made by annual pass holders. Only one member of the party or family needs an AP for this and must be the person who makes the booking. During busiy periods the quota of rooms for this discount can be used up within hours of the time the discounts are announced for the upcoming few months at a time.

Just ask about the AP discount when booking your room over the phone. You don't have to have the AP until you get there to check in. Vacation packages (with dining, etc.) do not qualify for the AP discount except for packages specifically meant for AP holders.

Write down all of the numbers and codes on the back of an MYW or hopper pass and this will greatly improve teh chances of re-issue if you lose the pass.

The only reason they do the bio-scan on MYW tickets, is so you dont give them to a friend after you use it. Other than that replacing them is just like to old park hopper tickets.
