Hello-

Is there a children's buffet with basic nuggets, fries, mac and cheese here? We really would like to try it, but our kids are very picky and highly doubt that they will eat the traditional food. =/

Nope..There is no real kids "americanized" buffet there. They have a Mac n cheese dish that kids may or may not like ( its not Kraft) and Rotisserie chicken.I will say that my daughter is very picky and she still loved it there. The little sausages she thought were hotdogs. She hated the Mac n cheese, but loved the pretzel bread, chicken etc.

Our DS4 ate the pretzel sticks, mac & cheese and chicken. Basic kid food, but we all loved the pretzel sticks.

We find this place to be well worth the money - buffet and entertainment. Plus the food isn't like all the rest of the buffets in WDW (of course, Boma's is really different too)

You'll have a great time!

My 2 year old ate a lot of food here, even though she normally wouldn't at home! This is the best entertainment with dining! My daughter loved dancing!:yay:

They used to have it there, with the nuggets and the mac n cheese and pizza, they had it the last time we were there (this time last year). Picky eater dd loved the sausage, chicken schnitzel, pretzel bread and desserts on the real buffet, too.

When my DD was 3, she was extremely picky (still is at 5). At that age, she ate more at Biergarten than I think I have ever seen her eat at another meal in her life.

With our then seven year old granddaughter, we found that by not telling her the "official" names of the dishes, she just looked at the food and tried what appealed to her. She ate her fill, danced her heart out and had a great time. Spaetzle is harmless.

I think with younger and pickier people, you have to take in the entire experience. The whole German environment is enough to get me in there. And if your kids will get up and join the fun on the dance floor, you will get your monies worth.

We did what Disnut8 did. We showed our DS4 the buffet and let him tell us what appealed to him. He loved the macaroni salad & the little sausages. We really enjoyed eating here and the kids still talk about how much fun it was eating and dancing. My DS13 loves to watch the video he made of mom doing the chicken dance. :thumbsup2

1) Ha, Ha.
2) I love this!

3) Went my brother & I were small kids we HATED split pea soup.
4) HATED, HATED, HATED.
5) Mom cut up frankfurters and put them in the soup.
6) Presto, she served us "hot dog soup".
7) We never tasted such great soup, even tomato!

Yes there is "kid food" there. One of our favorite restaurants. I'm sure you will enjoy it!
