Hi all. I'm beginning to second guess my ADR for Biergarten:confused3 I haven't seen many reviews about the food (the ones I did see were not favourable) and when I saw the menu it doesn't really pique my interest. I'm not a very picky eater, but HELP!!! Should I change them? Or be more adventurous?

Thanks

We have eaten at Biergarten many times, most recently earlier this month. I would not hesitate to return. :thumbsup2

We were at Epcot without dinner ressies and decided on Biergarten basically because we could get in. It was a very nice surpise!

The food was good even though we are not big fans of German food. The entertainment was great. They had a live show every 45 minutes or so with a "German" band, knickers and all. DS 5 had a blast dancing around and watching the guy play music with the water glasses.

Keep in mind you may have to share a table with another family, it doesn't bother us but some people are turned off by it.

:thumbsup2

We love it. We love German food and the food is pretty good (although we have had better at other German restaurants). The entertainment is terrific. It suited our famjily when the kids were younger as they were picky eaters...but they found something they liked and had plenty to eat.

We liked Biergarten and would go back again. The entertainment is fun and most of the food was good.

We love Biergarten. We go every trip. We skipped it in Dec and really missed it afterward. DH loves the beer flight! :lmao:

We really enjoyed it ! Walked right in w/o ADR and were seated immediately. Show was really nice, love the decor and set up inside...food was sooooo good. We are planning on returning on our future trip. Can't wait. I think Biergarten is a little hidden secret at Disney. ;)

I love the Biergarten. DW is a picky eater and thought the menu would not appeal to her, but she always leaves full! The atmosphere is very enjoyable and fun.

Give it a try. You won't know if you'll like it until you try it.

I am always one to say give it a try... you may be shocked. Just because my DH and I disliked it, doesn't mean that everyone will. I met my aunt and dad for dinner there and they both loved it.

Whenever I go to WDW the Biergarten is always the first ADR I make. I love the food and the atmosphere. Some people are turned off by the fact that it's mostly a meat and potatos buffet, so if you are looking for more variety this might not be the place for you. However I think you should keep an open mind and try it. Who knows you may like it.

We LOVE the Beirgarten (helps that DH is 100% German). They have delish cold salads, meats and cheeses, awesome cream of potato leek soup (I ate 3 bowls), pretzel breadsticks, veggies, mashed potatoes, roasted chicken and meats, spaetzel (like little dumplings), sausages, sauerkraut, pork schnitzel (pork cutlets), and the best dessert ever...apple strudel with warm vanilla cream sauce.

Biergarten is my DH's favorite Disney restaurant. It's not exotic or sophisticated, but good, plain food that hits the spot. The entertainment and beer are terrific, too.

The beer is good too!

Have an ADR for CP in December! I love this place!

Just ate at Biergarten in April for the first time in many years. We had lunch reservation at R&C, and they changed the menu- nothing we liked so we left and walked into Biergarten. Were very glad we did. Food was good, beer was great, and we ended up at a table with some very nice folks. We lived in Germany for a year (2004) and found the food to be similar to what we had there. We took dd, dsil and dgd to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, and are all going to the Biergarten this November- the little ones love the music and entertainment!

I love this restaurant!!! It's very unique in atmosphere, and it definitely has a lot of the Disney factor for me! We don't do this every trip, because we try and get some new restaurants in, but we do it every other trip because it is an old favorite!!

We love this place too. We ate there last week. Great food, great entertainment and of course enjoyed the beer. Just make sure everyone knows that you share a table. We shared ours with a family of six that were quite put out that they had to share. We had a good time anyway.:)
