Biergarten Walk Ups

I currently have a lunch ADR at Biergarten after our morning at AK, but am now wondering if I should cancel it and chance a walk up (for a party of 2) to allow ourselves more flexibility at AK in case we find ourselves enjoying the park more than expected. Was planning on heading out of AK at noon and to Biergarten around 1:30pm, but didn't want to rush ourselves if we didn't have to. Does anyone have any insight on how easy or difficult it may be to get a table (or two seats since its communal seating) during lunch at Biergarten on a Saturday? We will have a car, so won't be relying on Disney transportation.

Thanks!

Did you check to see if any later time is available? In March we were winging it and seems like two restaurants in Epcot we could always find a table Biergarten or Spice Road Table.

I have a similar issue. I have a Biergarten ADR for lunch on a day when we may want to eat later. There are ADRs available at several times that day so I am thinking about cancelling it and trying to walk up when it's convenient for us.

Yes, it looks like there are several ADRs for our date for later times, so it doesn't seem like it will be an issue. Thinking that's what we may do, so we have more flexibility, especially since Biergarten does seem to be one of the easier ADRs to get. Hoping that F&W are also going to draw people away, making it easier to just walk up as well :)

We have gotten a last minute ADR to Biergarten a couple times, as in we were walking to the restaurant and I made the ADR on the app right then.

I do not have experience walking up to Biergarten, but every time I search for an ADR there is availability at the Biergarten so I don't think it is hard to get a table there.
What, people don't like bratwurst and schnitzel anymore?

I went ahead and cancelled it. I want to be flexible that day.

I cancelled ours as well. With just two adults, and F&W likely drawing some of the weekend crowds since we are going on a Saturday, I think I am comfortable chancing it and allowing us more flexibility.

I can get 10% off here plus I read somewhere that the large beers are a decent deal. I really want to go there for a meal, but I don't know if I want a lunch or dinner. So I'm walking up when it fits. Thanks everyone for the feedback. :)

You might be fine. We have a res there in a month and I just checked. Tons of openings still.
Compare that to trying to move my Sci Fi at HS a little bit earlier. Nothing. I check twice a day. Totally booked.

The 10% off which I assume you are getting by using the Disney Visa is only applicable to lunch at Biergarten.

a few years ago, they wouldn't take our group as walk-up but we were able to reserve through the website while standing in front of the hostess and then they took us.
