Biergarten w/kids

This is our 1st time trying Biergarten (hubbie's choice). I read that there are long tables that different families sit together. Are there long bench like seats or individual chairs? What if we have a little one that needs a high chair?

They are individual chairs. If you need a high chair they will provide one.

We were just there on Wednesday and enjoyed it. They do not have slings for little little ones, but you can turn the high chair over to accommodate a car seat/carrier. Not that you asked that, but I thought I would share anyway!

Yes, we went there with kids...There were chairs and a high chair for your use. My family enjoyed the food. For me, it was good but too heavy for me so I ended up getting sick.

We ate here when my kids were about 5 and 7. They loved it! They were able to go down on the dance floor and dance and enjoy the band. It was a lot of fun!

This is one of our favorite resturants.We prefer lunch over dinner for the buffet selections.We have 4 kids 12,5,4,2. They all love the music and usually get up and go on the dance floor.They have high chairs and have sat us at higher tables so we could bring the kids sleeping in the stroller directly to our table.Prosit Hoi Hoi Hoi! Yo will understand my last sentence after you attend the Beer garden. Have a great meal and a fun experience!

I plan to make it a lunch ADR, but I just read on Dis that the band doesn't start til 1:15 pm. I was hoping to get an ADR betw 12-12:30 b/c we need to get back to the resort for nap time. So does this mean we will not have the band? I guess I can push the ADR for more like 12:45 & the band will start while we are eating. I would hate to miss that since it's a big part of the atmosphere.

We purposely booked an ADR at Biergarten before the band started to avoid the loud music. (DS& has autism and is very sensitive to loud noises.) It was wonderful! Not to crowded, great food and he could enjoy his meal without being overwhelmed. I'm sure the band was great, but for our needs, we did not mind missing it.

That's a good thing to consider. We will have a 4 yr old & a 1 yr old. Our 1 yr old may not like the loud noise.

Does Biergarten have a traditional kids' selection? I have a very picky 4 year-old and we're booked here. If there are no Chicken nuggets/strips or pizza, we may have a problem. Thanks!

No chicken strips or pizza. We have a 3 yo and just went Wednesday for lunch. I did find enough for him, but he is big on veggies and things like that. You might want to check the menu on allears.net and make sure they have enough there that your 4yo will eat. The most "kid" thing I recall was mac and cheese.
