Biergarten show without dining?

Wondering if there is a way to watch the show at the Biergarten without dining at the buffet. Is it possible to just get a beer/cider at Sommerfest and stand in the area behind the tables? Or is there a bar area with visibility of the stage? It’s been a few years since I’ve popped into the Germany pavilion, so I can’t quite remember the layout.

Nope. Have to be seated inside at table and pay for buffet. They have you wait for table outside and they call your name to be seated and escort you through doors to table. No bar inside. The show is included for the hefty buffet price we pay. Lunch buffet is cheaper though.

I'm pretty sure that you can't.

You'd need to be indoors to see the show and you can only go in when the attendant says your reservation is ready for the meal.

Not anymore, they made them the same price late last year.

Wow, that is a bit crazy. They had less offerings on the lunch buffet and the shows were less frequent (I think). Do they now have all the same food at lunch and dinner (like sauerbraten)?
