Does anyone have any reviews of Biergarden at Epcot? I was all sorted with my reviews, then I saw a good one of this place and now I'm undecided. I don't like the thought of sitting on tables with other people we don't know . . . is the food worth it?!!:goodvibes

Pictures would also be good . . .!!:thumbsup2 I love me some food porn!!!:rotfl2:

We like it - it's good fun and I like the atmosphere, food, entertainment (oompa band), oh, and the German beer :drinking1
I guess I'd slightly prefer not to sit with other people, but it doesn't put me off. You're up and down to the buffet and watching the show when it's on, and the whole thing is generally fairly jolly.
It's not haute cuisine, mind, but pretty decent though. I haven't any pics, sorry!

this is DH's favorite restaurant at WDW. the pork schnitzel (DH's favorite food EVER) is very good, and it's got a great atmosphere. the band invites people to dance and is very lively. if you don't want to talk to the other people at your table, you don't have to. we've been seated with plenty of people who didn't want to chat, lol. last time, we were seated next to a newlywed couple, and they were very nice. it was their first trip, so we gave them some tips and pointers and had a nice chat.

We like the Biergarten, been 3 times now. As said, the food isn't haute cuisine but it is really good and it is fun. Sitting with others has so far turned out really well for us. Even made some friends on our last trip.

Don't have food porn pictures but do have a few others from the Biergarten

We loved biergarten great food, best service at a buffet and fab theming. Were a couple too and were sat with a big Mexican family, who were fab they adopted us for the evening!

Thanks! Think I'm going to book it! Do they seat people at the same table at the same time, or are people at the same table at different stages in their meals?

My DH and I went without the kids in Oct and we're actually going back with the kids in May. You do sit with others but they sit you at approximately the same time so they can take your order at once. The "show" was fun and the kids can dance. Although the food was not my favorite, it was better than I expected. It's not all sauerkraut.:rotfl2:We just thought it was a really fun place.

This is our favourite place to eat at Epcot and we have been 4 times now.
Sitting with others has never been a problem for us. One time we were sat next to 4 retired people who all work for Disney, so we got some great tips and advice from them :thumbsup2
If you click the link to our October trippie in my sig below I have some food pics from Biergarten in there - Post 42 I think it is. We really like the food as it has something for everyone. Typical German fayre for those that like it but also simple pork, salad and veg for those that want to stay this side of 'adventurous'

I'm glad you started this thread Sonya, I've been debating whether or not to add Biergarten to the list. The only reservation I have is that I'm a vegetarian and I'm not sure if there's enough for me to eat!

I was pouring over your trippie to look at the MNSSHP pictures you mentioned on another thread, and then I came across the Biergarten ones . . . you're one of the people got me thinking about going there!!!:thumbsup2

We went last August. There really wasn't much there for vegetarians (or specifically for children).

That's my worry ... I went with my mum and dad two trips ago, they loved it .. Mum singing along with the band, and people watching was great too. Dad really enjoyed the food. This time though I'm going with my partner who is veggie .. I honestly don't think there is much ... although looking at the menu on AllEars there are some choices there ... lots of salad, but hot food seems limited to potatoes and veggies like braised cabbage etc.

Even so I think they are more accompaniment vegetables/salads rather than a meal on their own.

We all loved it here. Our DS's loved the show and the food (they were 6 and 16 months at the time). If you are vege then there is soup, salads, rolls and some of the hot food is suitable and I think most kids if they aren't fussy eaters would enjoy the food too, I know ours did with seconds of everything!
The puddings are delicious too.

After reading great reviews of this place - its defo on our to do list next time we're in WDW

I know some people have reservations about sitting at tables with other people - but from an other perspective I think it could be really nice to talk to some other people other than the people your travelling with (although just once, not every meal of course!)
