Biergarten Restaurant - Non-dining member?

The Biergarten Restaurant is a buffet. How do they handle a finicky 12 year old in the party who doesn't want to eat there? Can he sit with the rest of us?

Yes, but you'll pay the adult buffet price. They can't monitor each guest, so everyone who enters will be charged the price to dine.

if i remember correctly Biergarten is a buffet which means he will be charged full adult price just to sit with you

Biergarten is a buffet with entertainment. If they made exceptions to the pay per head rule, it would be madness and chaos.

I understand completely. I checked out some videos on YouTube and I understand better how it's laid out inside. There's no way to police who does and doesn't eat.

Lunch is a little bit cheaper if you want to save a few bucks and still dine here. There are quite a lot of options and it's actually our favorite buffet in all of Disney. The dinner and lunch buffet are almost identical too.

No one is probably eating more than $15 in a real meal anyway, whether it's mini frank and desserts or two types of potatoes, breads, sausages, and salads. You are paying for the atmosphere and ambience 1st and foremost...
