Is a 6:15 reservation at Biergarten too early to catch the 7pm show? How long does it usually take to get seated? I figure if we are seated at 6:25 then we will probably be close to done with our meal when the show starts. Can we order more drinks and stay at the table for a while? TIA!

We always go for lunch and I make a reservation 30-45 minutes before the show. We have actually sat there through 2 shows because we were having such a great time with the people we were seated with, so I know that they will not be rushing you out. Go and enjoy, it's a must do for us every trip!

That should be fine. We usually do lunch and have done a 12:30/12:45 on days when the first show was at 1:15. We tend to linger here. DH enjoys his drinks we take our time and go back for several servings then when the band comes on we get up and dance with the kids. Have never felt rushed here before.

Do you really wolf down your dinner in 35 minutes? Biergarden is a buffet restaurant. You can take your time and visit the buffet as many times as you want. You will have plenty of time to see the show.

LOL. Well, the reservation is at 6:15 so if we got seated right away it would be 45 minutes. But yes, with two young children we have kind of trained ourselves to eat fast and get out of dodge! This will be our first time at Biergarten and we are looking forward to it! Guess this will be one where we will try to savor our meal :drinking1

Um, with two young children, I would caution you to maybe put on your dancing shoes as kids of all ages are encouraged to come down to the floor and do whatever they want to do. Your kids might want to partake in that and depending on your table location, you might need to watch over them (and join them).

I also noticed that you included the beer drinking thing so I wanted to let you know that the beer prices are fairly good for Disney World and if you order the large one and don't have time (or inclination) to finish it (or even the smaller one), you can simply get a To Go cup when you are ready to leave.

I actually think your time is perfect! Ours was at 6:30, we were seated right away, and we were still eating (and :drinking1-get the big ones lol!) during the show. With DD being 13, we were comfy with her going down to the dance floor without us. But, you'll probably def want to go with your kids. (Not just to supervise, but cute photo ops of them dancing ). You'll feel more relaxed if you're already done eating. And I find they're great about not rushing people, especially around performance times.
