Biergarten questions

Made a PS for Biergarten at EPCOT and wanted to know your thoughts on this restaurant as this will be the first time we've dined there.

- How was the food?

- Atmosphere for children? (DD 2 and 5)

Any other comments / tips are appreciated. Thanks

I ate there for the 1st time in December and LOVED it. I didn't have my daughter with me, but it looked like all of the kids in the restaurant were having a good time. The band they have playing gets the kids involved. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is incredible and the entertainment is a lot of fun. Also, the tables are communal so you get seated with strangers, which depending on your personality could be fun or not. We enjoyed meeting new people. Anyway, give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have a great trip

We are going in 2 wks. I haven't been there for years, but from what other posters have been saying...it's great entertainment for the kiddies and the food is getting good reviews as well. I decided it might be the perfect place for my 2 little ones so they can enjoy the entertainment and my DH and I can actually get a meal down the hatch w/o having to make too many excursions w/ cranky kids out of the restaurant. We've been having to tag team them lately. So I'd say go! I certainly am. Good luck deciding.

We enjoyed the food and my 2-year old LOVED the show. I have a really cute picture of him smiling and clapping along. We would definitely go back.

We usually go here each trip. It's the only buffet my DH will eat at. As stated above the food and entertainment is good.

The food is tasty and very well prepared.

The entertainment will keep the kids occupied and interested.

and all enjoyed it. I grew up on this type of food but my wife did not. She still found plenty "safe" things to enjoy as did my girls. We all enjoyed the show and atmosphere.

We were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't on my list, but we went spur of the moment with someone who has German connections and we felt would enjoy it. The food - although not the best in Epcot - was very tasty, and the atmosphere was fine for kids

However, it is a buffet, and I do find buffets to be a hassle with little kids. Especially when little kids equal or outnumber adults.

We go every trip, normally for lunch for the prices are a bit cheaper..It is one of the better bargains for lunch we have found in Epcot. The food is very good and of course it is all you can eat, we have never eaten another meal the rest of the day on any day we ate there.

Sitting with other people is nice, we have met so many nice people there over the years. We ended up sitting and talking a bit with the nice family we were with last September as the place was so uncrowded.

The kids will love it, our grandkids love it when they are with us on trips....go and enjoy!!!
