My DBF and I (ages 28 and 27 respectively) currently have an ADR at Marrakesh, that we would like to change to Biergarten. We have never eaten here, and I am a little leary. I know you share tables, and we are fine with that- DBF is quite the chatty cathy, as I lovingly call him :lmao: I have read, however, that the tables are really really close together. Do you feel incredibly cramped here?? I would think that that would be an issue with getting up and down to the buffet. Also, I have read that it is really loud in there? How loud would yo say is REALLY loud? Will we be able to actually talk at dinner? Last question- about the show they have going on. Are there actual show times, or do you just have to be lukcy and hope one is going on during dinner? I would really like to see the show, so if I knew what time to make an ADR, that would be great. Any other comments/suggestions about Biergarten would be great!!!

We love this place! Tons of pics and reviews from our March/April trip are in my signature link

There were two recent threads on Biergarten here recently. You will get wonderful reviews and plenty of advice to enjoy this restaurant. The shows start at specific times but seating is continuous. So you will catch some of it almost no matter when you go, but you may want to plan appropriately. While the show is quite lively and fun, you will still be able to talk. And of course, you may be seated before or after the show gets underway and then it is quite normal quiet. We didn't find the seating too cramped, just conducive to conversation. We (5) enjoyed our conversation with the grandmother, daughter and 5 y.o son seated at our table. And trhe food was great!:thumbsup2

I know one member of their band died a few months ago. It was very sad and alot of people here on the DIS posted about what a fine, talented man he was. I believe it was a double tragedy, as his father died just a few hours later. I was just curious. Have they replaced him?

Not to sound crass but he was replaced almost immediately. Disney always has backups for their performers. The regulars have to go on vacation sometime but the show still goes on.
