Biergarten question

Oh, darn; we have a noon resi; will we miss everything show-wise? We just chose that because we have FEA FP+at 1:05 ; should we try to change our lunch resi time?

I would as I think you should get an ADR for about fifteen minutes before the starting playing time. That gives you enough time to get there, get seated, order drinks and get a first plate of food before the band starts. I'd go with a 2:00 ADR time.

And yes, you will not see a show if your ADR is for noon.

I have seen more like a half hour to 45 minutes. 15 minutes assumes you are seated IMMEDIATELY. What if there is a wait? They seat whole tables of 8 at once so if you're not a party of 8 you could be waiting for a complete table.

We are a party of 5, will they try to fill a table to 8 before they seat us? We will be there on Labor Day Monday, so not sure how crowded it will be.

Yes, you will wait behind the check-in podium until they fill that table esp on a Holiday weekend. The good thing is that you may have a chance to meet & have a visit with some new table mates and strike up a conversation. This can be a positive thing! :-) Not only is this a Disney wanting to fill the tables thing, it's also a very traditional Munchen (Munich) Oktoberfest tradition to dine with strangers.

Gotcha, thanks. Wasn't sure if they would make us wait, or just sit the next 3 folks with us. P.S. We're the family on the cruise who requests to dine alone. Lol

I suppose the positive is that at least you know this going in . . . as opposed to the families who are surprised by other diners at their table. Whatever you decide, have a great vacation :-)
