Will we all be at the same table? Will we have to share a table?

How long is this meal typically? I understand it’s a buffet, but is there scheduled entertainment or is just constant music being performed?

Thanks!

I googled and found an Epcot Live Entertainment page, it says the restaurant performances are daily at 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 & 8:05pm. You will all sit together, I think they have some tables that sit 10 so possibly may have a couple others join you.

I always try to get an adr 20-30 minutes before a show so we have a chance to get seated, give in our drink orders and get some food before the show begins.

Thanks for this! Our reservation is at 6:15, so should be good timing.

To add to my post...this ADR is for an evening EMH night during the last week of F&W (Thursday night). Is it going to be crazy in WS?

The last time I was there we were a group of 8, and we had one table all together with nobody else sitting with us.

We were a party of 8 as well and sat at a table by ourselves! It was great and everyone loved the food and the show!

Would anyone think this is not a great use of the dining plan? We have a party of 10 and seems a lot if paying oop for brats and cold sides. I like the idea of the beer though with the meal.

The tables only seat 8 here so your family will have a table to themselves.

There is a lot more than just brats. Rouladen, schnitzel, fish, sausages, nudel gratin, tons of salads and yes, the cold board. Plus great desserts, and yes - the BEER!! I would not hesitate to use my credits, or my paycheck, to pay here.

We never do dining plans and Biergarten is one of our favorite restaurants, well worth the money. Lots of things we all like. Not sure where you got the idea it is only brats and cold sides. There are a LOT of items on the menu.

This is probably the easiest one credit TS to have large parties...and have a liter of beer!

We were a party of 10 back in December and took up an entire table. I guess it's possible, if they're busy, that a 2-top could be seated at a table with a party of 8. As for timing...it took us around an hour and a half for our meal.

1) Parties of eight are never guaranteed to sit together.
2) It even says this on your ADR Confirmation.
3) At Germany, you do have the best shot at one table, however.
4) Just do not be disappointed if your group is split up.

This is 100-percent incorrect. I just made an ADR for a table of 8 and nowhere in the ADR confirmation does it mention this. The only thing relating to parties is automatic gratuity.

Here is the entire body of my confirmation email:

We sat at one of the tables right beside the dance floor in front of the bandstand and it was an 8-top. That was our first and so far only time at Biergarten, and we loved it! A show was just starting when we sat down, and we got through almost an entire second show before we were finished. Food is great! Such a large variety with something for everyone.

Loved it enough that I switched my Via Napoli ADR for this coming June to Biergarten. I want my BFF to get a chance to experience it! If it's as impressive as it was in December, it may become a tradition!

1) MAYBE they changed the wording.
2) But, WDW never guarantees
. . . groups ability to eat together, as they might be split among tables
. . . specific room classifications or even specific resorts when booking hotel stays
3) They might have deleted, or missed, the clause about possible split tables, due to the complaints of people who wanted a guaranteed group ADR.
4) As a Concierge, I told EVERYONE who made an ADR that they might be split among different tables.

NOTE1:
. . . People have complained a lot about ADRs.
. . . WDW is trying to appease them in order to not loose "dining dollars".
. . . The dining revenue is significantly down at WDW.
. . . This might be a reason for the absence of the "split tables" clause.
. . . They have even gone to offering CMs up to 40% discounts just to eat at WDW, including most at Signature eateries, just to increase business.
NOTE2:
My personal experience: I have tried (sometimes unsuccessfully) to handle guest complaints about . . .
. . . Dining: I have seen families as small as four people split among tables
. . . Resorts: I have seen people switched to another resort than the one they booked (example: deluxe resort switched to a moderate resort)
. . . Rooms: I have seen people switched to another room classification (example: woods view moved to a parking lot view - example: a "suite" paid-ressie converted to a double room)
