Biergarten for Thanksgiving Questions

Anyone ever been for Thanksgiving? What was it like? Is Epcot really crowded that day? How much is the holiday pricing for adults and children over 3? Feel free to post pics of the Thanksgiving spread! Thanks in advance.

Disney is very crowded everywhere during the holiday week.
Expect to be elbow to elbow most places.
The seasonal pricing will probably be in effect during that time.

regular prices
lunch 25.99/13.99
dinner 34.99/16.99
potential upcharge during the holiday of about 4-6 dollars.

I haven't heard of the menu changing for the holiday.

We did Thanksgiving at Biergarten during the holiday surcharge but we did it for a late lunch. If you get a seating for the very last lunch seating, you will be there right before the a performance of the band. Then, you can extend your meal until they bring out the dinner food (which doesn't have very much additions) until after the performance. So you can partake in both lunch and dinner but for the lower lunch price. That's what we did without really knowing it.

we did biergarten for thanksgiving 2008. it was wonderful! they had a nice selection of their regular buffet along with some traditional american thanksgiving items. DH and i were thrilled not to have to eat turkey, but the kids wanted turkey. everyone was happy. and we have been back since.

we were on the dining plan, so i don't know about specific charges. i do believe there is a holiday surcharge during that time, but it will most likely be at all the restaurants during your stay.

any park is going to be crowded. epcot is large enough that it dissipates the crowd somewhat. we actually took it kind of easy that thanksgiving. we slept in a bit, got to epcot later in the morning. we took the "behind the seeds" tour early that afternoon. we did see a few attractions, but mostly just took it easy.
