Biergarten for New Year's Eve...any thoughts?

I'm thinking about making our NYE ADR at the Biergarten in Epcot. Anyone out there like their buffet? And has anyone ever been there for New Year's Eve? I'm not necessarily looking for a late ADR since we're staying at BCV and we can always eat earlier and then walk back to Epcot for the midnight countdown.

Trying to make the most of our DDP and the buffet sounds very good!

Never been for NYE, but there are many of us out here who love the Biergarten. One of our favotire places to eat in WDW. Always good food and good fun, and we don't even drink beer!

I am planning to go there for NYE also, as a little wedding reception, i went there for dinner a couple years ago. They had great food, especially pretzels. The part i didnt like was having to sit at a table with strangers. The people we sat with were nice though. They have great entertainment but they dont play continuously so check their schedule when you make your ADR. When we were there they stopped playing shortly after we got there.

The biergarten was the only meal we didnt enjoy on our trip.
I was not impressed as everything tasted like it had been pickled!!!
The desserts were so impressive though!!
I dont think it was a bad place I just not cut out to eat pickled everything

If you like German food, you will love the buffet. It is very good. We have not been to Biergarten on New Year's, but spent 6 years living in Germany and New Year's Eve was always a great time. I can only imagine that the Biergarten would be very lively and fun on such an occasion! Have fun!!!
