Hello. I just booked the Biergarten (DH's request), for our Thanksgiving dinner. I was hoping someone knew if they have a Children's area on the buffet? I'm not sure my girl's will be too thrilled with the choices, but DH and DFIL, really want to eat here. Help is always appreciated!:cool1:

There are a lot of great choices. I have a ton of pics of all the buffet items from last month in my signature

They have a kid's section. When we went, they had mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and hot dogs. My kids surprised me and ended up liking some of the regular stuff, particularly the pork schnitzel, potato leek soup and spaetzle with bacon and cheese.

Isn't it going to have traditional Thanksgiving fare? From what I understand, most restaurants do have that on Thanksgiving. And it is listed on allears as one of the TS restaurants to offer traditional fare on their buffet.

They sure do have "comfort foods". As with any Disney buffet, the kids can eat anything and so can the adults. I enjoy the chicken the buffet a lot.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if you never mentioned a kids area to your daughters.

Yes, I was told that they would replace a few of regular menu items with traditional Thanksgiving fare. To be exact, she mentioned turkey, stuffing and green beans. I was told that most of the buffet would remain unchanged. Now, I was told this by a CM, so I hope she was right. Anyone been on Thanksgiving?

My hubby said that exact same thing! :) My eldest is typically willing to try anything, but the younger three, are more challenging. I guess since we are on vacation and it will be Thanksgiving, dessert maybe a good place to start! :cool1:

Heh - great minds think alike!

Here's my hint for any buffet. Why wait until the end when you are stuffed to get your dessert? I get one dessert every time I go to the buffet. Cheesecake goes very well with a salad.
