Hi everyene. I love biergartan but the fiance wants to do akershus to see the princesses so we have to go there over any circumstances. lol. So what I am trying to decide is do we do two days at Hollywood Studio and or two days at epcot. Here are our plans

Epcot: lunch Noon Biergartan and Dinner Counter Service
Hollywood Studios: 11:10AM Sci-Fi and ABC Commissary Dinner
Epcot: Brunch 10:50AM Cape May Cafe and Dinner Akershush 6:55PM

or this set of plans

Hollywood Studios: 11:10AM Sci-Fi and ABC Commissary Dinner
Epcot: Noon Biergartan and Akershus 6:55PM
Hollwood Studios: 10:50AM Cape May Cafe and 50s Primetime Dinner

Should we go to Hollywood stuidos twice and epcot once or Epcot twice and Hollywood Studios once. I know we would need to hit Toy Story Mania, Star Tours, Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones, Muppets show and def Fantasmic. Can I do that all in one day and getting inline early for fantasmic?

Or should I do HS two days since you can do epcot and the rides in one day and walk around the world showcase? or does epcot take two days?

Thanks this has been driving me mad lol I wish I had another park day.

Also is a Noon Biergartan Reservation and Akershus 6:55PM reservation too much food in one day? Will we be hungry at akershus? Agh lol

Depending on when you go to HS, there might be two showings of Fantasmic (9:00 and 10:30 - the 10:30 is often way less crowded). You should be able to get Fast Passes for all of the HS events unless you're going during Star Wars Weekends (and BatB has limited showtimes and ST will be much more popular). You can get FPs for all of the HS experiences (it works out perfectly if you do TSMM one day and Fantasmic the other with 2 of the other shows/rides). Typically there wouldn't be much of a line for Muppets 3D though.

It depends on what you want to accomplish at Epcot as well. Rides? Walk around the world? Soarin' and Test Track are Tier 1 rides, so you can't get a FP for both on the same day unless you get one as a 4th FP after your initial 3 are done.

Maybe a day and a half of each? Since they are so close, it's not a very far trek from one to the other.

I haven't eaten at either, but I'm planning to eat at both Akershus and Biergarten on the same day too! We're doing a Akershus breakfast before park opening (it's also cheaper than lunch and dinner) and a late lunch at Biergarten. Have you thought of an Akershus breakfast instead of dinner or did you have your heart set on a Norwegian dinner?

In that case, you might be able to do something like:

Epcot: Breakfast Akershus, Counter service lunch, Biergarten dinner
Hollywood Studios: 11:10AM Sci-Fi and ABC Commissary Dinner
Hollwood Studios/Epcot: 10:50 Cape May Cafe and 50s Primetime Dinner (Epcot in the morning - walk to BC for brunch, then take a shuttle to HS in the afternoon/evening)

HS is always a 1 day (and usually a half day) park for us

I would lean to this:
Epcot: lunch Noon Biergartan and Dinner Counter Service
Hollywood Studios: 11:10AM Sci-Fi and ABC Commissary Dinner
Epcot: Brunch 10:50AM Cape May Cafe and Dinner Akershush 6:55PM

BUT i would not do brunch at Cape May, I would stay in the park and do Seasons for midday meal

I agree with Pumbaa - HS is at most a one day park. There's just not much left there to do. For my family at least, Epcot is a mandatory two days. There is so much to experience in the world showcase and you'll be exhausted if you rush through in one day. I also don't think I could stomach both Biergarten and Akershus in one day. You'd have to roll me out of the park.

I tried to do Biergarten and a Dessert Party in one day and that was a mistake. You will be stuffed. Overstuffed. If you do go to Biergarten don't forget to order one of these:

I thot of it. Its not much of a price difference i think Akershus is 44.70 for breakfast and 45.80 for lunch. Im just not a huge breakfast person so I was looking at it that way. Maybe Ill ask the lady see if shed be okay with that. I guess I can always just play it by year. Hit Hollywood studios first then epcot and then the extra day see what wed rather do and just plan my dining rezzies that day so they arent in a park like cape may breakfast and boma. Thanks for all your help I really appreciatie it. We are going when theres two shows of fantasmic im just worried it could get rained out. Id rather def see fantasmic than illumications if I had to take the chance and one of them get rained out.

Uh oh. I definitely have Akershus, Biergarten, San Angel, AND Dessert Party all on the same day...And drinking around the world.

Does any one happen to know how priceing works for buffets? If I make a 10:45am reservation at Tusker House (so i can eat both lunch an breakfast foods [11am becomes lunch]) what do they charge me if I check in at the booth at 10:45am? Or is the price when the check comes? or is it when your seated?

Thanks

If your reservation is made during breakfast time, you should be charged for breakfast.

so if its during breakfast time (10:45am is breakfast for tusker house) and I have to wait to be seated till say 11:05am (11am is lunch) I will still be charged breakfast?

You're just kidding, right?! :faint:

I figured we'd need food to absorb the alcohol haha. We have an early Akershus, later lunch at Biergarten, dinner at San Angel and Dessert Party a couple hours after dinner. I suppose we could turn the dinner into a QS.

It's quite an epic day, but one you'll probably still talk about years later.
