Does ebay have some type of posting fee? I believe I've only sold one thing years ago and had to pay a fee only if it sold. I would think they would want to eliminate bogus postings.

I suspect it's a joke. Bogus ads on eBay are pretty much like posts on the DIS, no one knows until someone reports it!

That nothing ad could be a "placeholder" for the FLD. They may have intended to put something in its place because of the free listing, never did and forgot about it.

I assume that was one of many placeholders on free listing day. People put it up for free, then take their time putting up what they saved it for. Apparently, this person didn't need it.
