Bicycles on CC...

Has anyone seen or heard if tandem bikes are available on CC?
Mainly for an adult and child...
I just thought of this for myself and DD6, she rides without training wheels but I thought it would be real fun to have a double bike!

I don't remember seeing any tandem bikes on our Nov. 2002 and our Nov. 2003. But on our 2002 my DS5 used a bike with training wheels on CC.

Has anyone ever gone biking on CC? Is it interesting enough to take away time I would spend on the beach?

We rode bikes on our CC day in December. It was kind of chilly and pretty windy that day, a beautiful day but a little too cold for swimming. There's a nice path that takes you down an old airstrip to Serenety Bay (there was absolutely no one on the beach when we looked), then another path that takes you to the other side of the island where there is a lookout at rocky beach area (not allowed on it). It turned out to be a fun activity for the day! If the weather had been better I don't know if we would have even thought about it.

We have twice done the cycle trail, and it was just great. We had perfect days (no wind), and were glad of the "drinking water" stops on route. No tandems obvious, but lots of children cycling with families, and also teen group (organized). Only takes an hour, so managed to work up a great appetite for the BBQ!!! Worth doing in our opinion.
