"If your tired of being in your situation, hand it over to Jesus, he will not get tired of fixing it."

This is not to offend anyone who does not believe in God, just a lift up for those who need it.:sunny:

No, it is more like letting God reposes your soul for its debt owed.
I am tired of trying to pay for something no one will ever have a chance of paying off.

The interest alone is just HELLISH.
:hyper:

It simply means that worrying will not change your situation and if you can't fix it than why not let it rest on his shoulders. Drop the bricks and take his load instead, it is lighter.:bounce:

I know I should be doing that, but sometimes it's hard to remember that when I'm so busy worrying.

Thanks, I needed that!:flower:

Oh, my gosh -- I just told that to someone here on the DIS just yesterday. It's so true. :)

I would like to think that being as it is my "situation", I should handle it myself.

Maybe he is busy enough handling all those other problems.

But God is there to get us through the tough times. We may get ourselves into problems, but it's never anything that he can't handle. :D

That is nice that you can believe that. I just think my problems are mine and not "his/hers". I always wondered that if I turned my problems over to him and things just continued to get worse, would I end up blaming "him/her"?

(Sorry there are just those elements out there that think god may be a woman! Just covering all the bases!)

Just wondering if you ever had to "let go" of a problem to find the appropriate solution. Same general idea.

Hand over the problem to Him. What's the worst that could happen? Nothing? I usually find though that when I hand over the problem, suddenly everything gets better. :D

Thanks for the encouraging words!

It is something we all need in our lives.

That statement is so true. It was a hard lesson for me to learn, but once I did amazing things have happened. Thanks for the reminder.

Your post couldn't have come at a better time for me. Pixiedust to you.

If it is an issue that needs action, then you need to hand the solution part over. Once I truly let go of an issue and ask God to show me the solution...everything works out, but I can't expect to do nothing if action is needed.

Southernclass....definitely something that is always a good reminder. I constantly have to remind myself of this. I needed this today.

Coming from a long line of people that worry..Its nice to be reminded of this...hard to do sometimes..."letting it go and what happens happens" but so much better for the pysche. Thanks again SC.

Hey thanks for that! I needed that today. A similar thought from the 12-step world is "Let Go and Let God". That one works for me too. Easy to forget but good to remember! God Bless. <><

No, Thank you guys!! It is so nice to actually talk to people who don't have something bad to say about me all the time just because they are unhappy themselves. We should pray for them.:)
