Bibbity Bobbity Boutique with short hair

My oldest daughter (will be 9) has expressed interest in BBB on our upcoming trip either at WDW or on DCL but she has short hair - think a messy pixie cut. What have others with short hair done for hairstyle? She isn't one to wear a princess dress so it would just be a crown package. I suggested that maybe it wouldn't work to do one of the "princess" styles and she was disappointed. She has since added long hair to her Christmas wish list!!

We might book my youngest daughter (will be 4) an appt too but she has long hair so it would be easier. Likely just the crown package as we have lots of dresses for her already.

I think the bun wouldn't work, but the other two current hairstyles rely more on gel and hairpieces that they put in, and wouldn't be an issue. The three options in October were the bun (forget what they call it), Disney Diva and Color Star.

DGD did go with short hair, a chin length bob. They put up half and put it in a bun, left half down.

I think PP's idea of going with one of the options that doesn't use a bun would look better. There is one with twists and color pieces added in. They may be able to get that one to work.
